— Columbia Gas called at 6:13 p.m. Thursday to request a welfare check on an employee, East Lake Road, Hanover Township, due to a motion alert on his company vehicle and being unable to make contact with him. A deputy spoke with a family member who said he wasn’t at the residence, but they would contact him and said this was an ongoing problem with his company vehicle.
— A woman from Waterford Road, Unity Township, reported at 4:20 p.m. Thursday that she received a call allegedly from Walgreens that her debit card was charged and she needed to send a picture of her driver’s license. It was a fraud call.
— A man on Pancake Clarkson Road, Middleton Township reported at 3:12 p.m. Thursday that he received several phone calls from an unknown person threatening him.
— A deputy was dispatched at 11:04 p.m. Wednesday to Burtzland Outfitters, South Mahoning Avenue, Knox Township, for a loud bang at the gun range. The deputy checked the area, but didn’t find anything.
— A woman on Lowmiller Road, West Township reported at 7:48 p.m. Wednesday that a red Chevy Avalanche truck was driving up and down the road, then stopped and the people let a black dog out of the truck, saw the woman and got the dog back into the truck and left. A deputy checked the area but didn’t find anyone.
— A woman on County Airport Road, Madison Township reported at 7:09 p.m. Wednesday that someone stole her chalice from her garden on the property.
— A woman on Depot Street, Rogers reported at 5:57 p.m. Wednesday that her 10-year-old daughter was being disrespectful to her.
— A trustee for Damascus Park, Georgetown Damascus Road, Butler Township, reported at 4:58 p.m. Wednesday that a woman was living in a vehicle in the parking lot. A deputy made contact with the woman and she was advised of the complaint and the park hours, with the park being closed from dusk to dawn. She said she would leave the property.
— A man on Lisbon Road, Center Township reported at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday that he has a court order against him and can’t go back to his residence to get his clothes where a woman is living. He was advised to contact an attorney or the courts.
— A deputy was dispatched at 9:06 p.m. Tuesday to Maple Street, Lisbon to assist Lisbon Police with people fighting and with firearms present. Terry W. McDaniel, 29, Salem Alliance Road, Butler Township, was charged with assault and strangulation. Michael R. McDaniel, 40, Alliance Sebring Road, Alliance, was charged with aggravated menacing. Lisbon Police transported both of them to the county jail. According to Columbiana County Municipal Court records, Terry will face a preliminary/pretrial hearing April 29 for the felony and misdemeanor charges for allegedly punching another man in the face with a closed fist and placing him in a chokehold, causing him to struggle to breathe and speak. Michael will face a pretrial April 29 for a misdemeanor charge for allegedly pointing a firearm at two women after the fight ended between two men.
— A deputy was dispatched at 5:31 p.m. April 18 to Plymouth Street, Hanoverton for a protection order violation. A warrant was issued to a Hanoverton man for the violation.
