Sheriff’s Office
— A woman on Sunset Drive, Hanover Township called at 5:57 p.m. Saturday to request a report, per her attorney, that her son’s father of Lisbon is making false police reports for neglect and abuse.
— East Liverpool Police and Fire Dispatch called at 3:37 p.m. Saturday to report receiving a call of a man assaulting a 4-year-old juvenile in the parking lot of the 7 & 30 Superette, state Route 7, Madison Township, and then leaving in a vehicle. A license plate was provided. A deputy went to the man’s residence on Yeager Drive, Madison Township, and spoke with the man and the 4-year-old juvenile, who was fine.
— A deputy was dispatched at 10:33 p.m. Friday to Meadow Wood Drive, Butler Township, for a person having mental health issues. EMT EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.
— Deputies were dispatched at 8:20 p.m. Friday to the parking lot of Family Dollar, state Route 45, Center Township, for an intoxicated man. Deputies spoke to a man and woman from Middleton Township and provided them a courtesy transport to McDonald’s, state Route 14, Columbiana, where a ride was to be waiting for them. Lisbon Police assisted.
— An open 911 lines was reported at 7:29 p.m. Friday in the area of the 28000 block of Campbell Road, Hanover Township, but nothing was found.
— Dispatch received a 911 call at 6:43 p.m. Friday that juveniles were on top of a Norfolk Southern train that just passed the crossing at Haiti Road, Washington Township, traveling west. Dispatch spoke with Norfolk Southern and they were stopping the train at Fink Road, Summitville. While deputies were en route, dispatch advised Norfolk Southern said the train was stopped and the conductor made contact with several juveniles who jumped off of the train and ran into the woods. Deputies checked the area, but didn’t find anyone.
— A man on Sell Road, Center Township reported at 5:15 p.m. Friday that there was a disturbance at the residence next to his between two brothers. Upon arrival, the one brother said the other brother left the property in his vehicle and there were no issues.
— A Pennsylvania woman reported, per her attorney, at 3:43 p.m. Friday that her ex-husband, Steven Drive, Knox Township, has visitation this weekend and said he will taking their 6-year-old son on a motorcycle ride. She said she told him her son is not going for a motorcycle ride.
— Suspicious noises were reported by a caller from an address on state Route 45, Madison Township at 2:27 a.m. Friday. Deputies checked the property with no contact with anything suspicious and no evidence of any other persons being on the property.
— A man on Sherwood Road, Yellow Creek Township, reported at 7 p.m. Thursday that his tools, wheat penny, food stamp card and debit cards were missing from inside his residence.
— A deputy was dispatched at state Route 45, Salem Township at 6:47 p.m. Thursday for a welfare check on a person making suicidal threats through email to a caller in Jefferson County. The deputy spoke to the person who said they needed to go to the hospital. EMT EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.
— A man on Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, reported at 6:11 p.m. Thursday that his neighbor was intoxicated, was yelling at him, then pulled a knife on him and ran back to his residence. The neighbor then called dispatch and advised the man was threatening him. Both were told to have no contact with each other.
