— Officers investigated the area around a Wilbert Avenue residence after the resident called to report that she saw an unknown male attempt to get in her apartment on March 31.

— Officers investigating a noise complaint on Thompson Avenue on March 31 advised a resident to turn their music down if they were playing it too loud. Officers noted they did not hear music at the time they made contact with the resident.

— A female called police on March 31 to request a male and female be trespassed from her Minerva Avenue residence. Officers informed the female she was not to be at the residence anymore but the male had already left when they arrived. Officers to make contact with the male and notify him he has been trespassed from the property.

— Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle reported parked in the parking lot of the Dresden Drive Thru on March 31 spoke to an employee who told them the vehicle had left and appeared to have dropped someone off.

— Officers assisted hospital staff with a male at the hospital and then transported to the male to the Columbiana County Jail after he was cleared on March 31.

— An officer searched the corner of Dresden Avenue and West Ninth Street on March 31 for a homeless man reported to be digging through the property there.

— Officers attempted a callback for a possible animal complaint on East Fourth Street on March 31. Officers called the number three times.

— After receiving a call from the San Mateo County coroner who told dispatch that a male had passed away and requested a death notification to his brother, officers located the brother who is known to be homeless and arranged to meet with him on March 31 to let him know of his brother’s passing. The officer stated the brother was obviously upset and asked him if there was anyone he could call for him or if he wanted a ride somewhere. The male said no and that he just needed to walk it off. The officer noted keeping an eye on him for a few moments to make sure he was going to be okay.

— An officer investigating a report of an older female sitting in a wheelchair by herself in a Pennsylvania Avenue parking lot on March 31 was told by the female that she was fine and was just waiting for Tri-County Cab. The officer called the cab company to verify that they had one coming and was told there was one on the way. The officer waited with the female until the cab arrived.

— Officers searched the area of River Valley Physicians for a male reported to be walking in circles and yelling, but were unable to locate him. He was found later at another hospital where he checked himself into.

— Officers returned a call to a West Fourth Street resident who told them that the neighbors were playing loud music and he left his home to go sit at the hospital until it was time for him to go to work and that he will have his legal team investigate the matter further.

Sheriff’s Office

— A deputy was dispatched at 10:16 p.m. Tuesday to a Lisa Lane address in Center Township for a domestic violence report. All parties involved said it was just an argument and a refusal was signed.

— A man at the Travelers Inn, state Route 45, Center Township, reported at 7:34 p.m. Tuesday that he has been living at the Inn for the past five months and now he’s locked out of his room and was requesting a deputy to respond. Upon arrival, management arrived and an agreement was made.
