LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, charges of engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools were dismissed against Olusegun G. Atoyebi, 40, last known address listed as Clive, Iowa, who’s in federal custody on an alleged immigration-related federal offense. Atoyebi had been accused of allegedly responding to an undercover ad placed by a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $100, then arrived in East Palestine on Nov. 30, 2025 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. At the time of his arrest, his address was Newark, N.J.
A case against Fredrick J. Webb, 48, Van Buren Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury for purchase/possess vehicle with VIN for allegedly knowingly possessing a vehicle without a VIN tag or title on Oct. 13, 2025 in Perry Township, with the titled owner, A Vino Auto Sales LTD, providing a copy of the title for the vehicle and written statements that the vehicle had a VIN tag on it when it left the car lot.
Scott W. Knight, 27, Spruce Street, Columbiana, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served, for assault amended from domestic violence. On March 18 in Columbiana, he threatened to kill a woman during an argument, then pushed her and she fell into a bath tub, hitting her head on the tub faucet.
Bryan A. Veglia Jr., 34, Ruth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 23 days in jail, with credit for 23 days served, for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for pushing a woman to the ground on March 1 in Wellsville. He was also sentenced to 90 days jail, with credit for 23 days served, leaving a balance of 67 days still to serve for violating his probation for three 2024 cases that included charges of assault, criminal damaging and operating a vehicle impaired.
A pretrial was set June 3 for William D. Hively Jr., 55, Summit Street, Salem, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to bash a woman’s face in and punch her, telling her to shut up or he would shut her mouth for her on March 24 in Salem.
A pretrial was set April 6 for Thomas R. Welsh, 40, East Fourth Street, Salem, charged with violate protection order for allegedly standing on the other side of a protected person’s vehicle on March 24 in Salem and also walking inside a business with her and then leaving together.
Michael W. Loy, 51, Shafter Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and to have no contact with the victim. On Nov. 15, 2025, Loy was accused of pushing a woman hard up against a door frame during an argument, causing bruising and swelling to her arm.
Jason M. Deramo, 49, Bridgeville, Pa., was fined $800 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and open container. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service and a prostitution prevention course. Deramo was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money, but the affidavit said he wanted a discount due to being short on funds. On Jan. 12, he arrived in East Palestine for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession, along with an open can of beer.
Gregory Paul Williams, 62, West South Range Road, Columbiana, was fined $750 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and a prostitution prevention course. He was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $140, then traveling to East Palestine on Jan. 14 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
John E. McCallister, 55, East Sixth Street, Salem, was fined $250 and sentenced to five days in jail, with credit for five days served, leaving zero days to serve for theft. He was accused of stealing a book bag from the pavilion by the playground at Centennial Park on Jan. 7 in Salem. McCallister was ordered to serve 10 days in jail, with credit for five days already served, leaving five days still to serve for violating the terms of his probation for a 2025 case for drug paraphernalia.
A pretrial was set April 29 for Brandon Allen Green, 33, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a scale with white residue on it during a traffic stop on March 24 in St. Clair Township when he was the passenger.
Jesse V. McRobie, 54, Louisville, was sentenced to two days in jail for violating the terms of probation for a 2024 theft case.
Patrick Aaron Lattanzio, 36, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, was fined $900 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended, for operating a vehicle impaired and reasonable control. Upon completion of a driver intervention program, he’ll receive credit for three days served and $310 of his fine will be suspended. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 30 hours community service.
Jacob John Shreve, 20, Dunn Road, East Liverpool, was fined $615 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and a stop sign violation. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and his driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted.
Cubanola Martin, 72, 14th Street, Wellsville, was fined $925 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, leaving 10 days to serve in jail, for two merged OVI counts and a plate light violation. His driver’s license was suspended for two years.
Charity M. Todd, 26, Salem Unity Road, Salem, was fined $1,350 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended and credit for three days served, leaving a balance of seven days still to serve in jail for OVI, driving under suspension and reasonable control. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
William Roy Potts Jr., 36, Idaho Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $925 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and failure to control. Another OVI charge was dismissed. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.

A pretrial was set June 10 for Herbert Dale Suter Jr., 25, Fourth Street, Beloit, charged with driving under suspension.
A private review/decision to the bench was set for April 27 for William Boyer, 19, Padgett Road, East Palestine, charged with reasonable control.
A status conference hearing was set June 10 and a court trial was set June 22 for Seth A. Little, 26, Newgarden Avenue, Salem, charged with driving under suspension.
Amanda M. Kiger, 52, Westfield Road, East Liverpool, was fined $450 for three counts of driving under suspension. A charge of speeding was dismissed.
Christopher Harold Valentine, 30, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $230 for driving under suspension and loud exhaust, with the judge noting he can do community service to work off the fines and costs at $10 per hour.
Samantha Maizie Unger, 19, Boardman, was fined $75 for an equipment violation amended from traffic control device.
Lawrence B. Williams, 22, Youngstown, was fined $75 for speeding, with a charge of driving under suspension dismissed.
Lindsay Rianne Maclean, 30, Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for an equipment violation amended from speeding-school zone.
Chelsey L, Reynolds, 35, Goshen Road, Salem, was fined $150 for a equipment violation amended from traffic control devices.

Veglia Jr., 34, Ruth Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to a term at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center until the program is complete for violating the terms of his community control for two counts of nonsupport of dependents and one count of possession of cocaine, both fifth-degree felonies. Veglia failed to pay child support for two children from Sept. 27, 2020 to Sept. 25, 2022 and possessed cocaine on Feb. 10, 2024.
— Andrew P. Deal, 47, East Main Street, Washingtonville, was placed under community control for three years after pleading guilty to nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony. He received credit for one day served in jail. He failed to pay support from Jan. 3, 2021 to Jan. 1,2023.
— Chelsea N. Keyes, 23, Lacroft Avenue, East Liverpool, was placed on an intervention plan for 18 months after pleading guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing methamphetamine on Oct. 18, 2024.
