LISBON — An East Palestine man accused of striking a woman multiple times was sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to domestic violence and endangering children.

Ethan M. Hill, 23, last known address East Main Street, appeared recently in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court to enter the pleas to the fifth-degree felony domestic violence charge and misdemeanor endangering children. Charges of fourth-degree felony strangulation and misdemeanors of domestic violence, criminal damaging and unlawful restraint will be dismissed as part of the plea deal.

He received credit for 51 days already served in jail. Hill struck a woman in the face numerous times, picked her up off the ground by her throat and pushed her while she had a child in her arms on Jan. 27 in East Palestine. She also said she was pregnant and that he backhanded her several days previous to this incident.

Also in Common Pleas Court:

— Jason L. Conkle, 47, Hollywood Avenue, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to nonsupport of dependents, a fifth-degree felony, with sentencing set for May 22. Conkle failed to pay child support from Jan. 1, 2023 to Dec. 29, 2024.

— Jessica L. Stillion, 44, Bandy Road, North Benton, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, from two separate indictments. Sentencing was set for May 22. Stillion possessed methamphetamine on Sept. 28, 2024 and on Nov. 25, 2024.
