-- Deputies responded at 9:49 p.m. Sunday to Grant Street, Lisbon for one to be removed and spoke to people inside the residence and identified them, learning that one of them gave a false name and had an active warrant out of Alabama. Christopher Henderson, 39, Grant Street, Lisbon, was taken into custody on a charge of obstructing official business. He appeared in Columbiana County Municipal Court on Monday, with a pretrial set for June 1. An affidavit said the active warrant out of Alabama was for failure to register as a sex offender. A woman identified at the residence was transported to a hospital by EMS due to medical issues.
-- A deputy was advised at 6:26 p.m. Sunday by dispatch that a West Township resident had a question regarding a civil matter. The deputy advised dispatch of the answer, which was relayed to the caller.
-- Suspicious activity was reported on state Route 45, Center Township at 8:19 p.m. Saturday. The caller only wanted a report on file.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 2:19 a.m. Friday to the Roger's Sale, state Route 154, Elkrun Township, for an active alarm in one of the buildings. Deputies were in the area due to another call and responded within moments. The building was checked and all doors and windows appeared to be secure.
-- A menacing report for a property on Plymouth Street, Hanoverton was taken at 6:55 p.m. March 12, with the caller advised how to proceed.
-- Deputies responded at 8:51 p.m. Friday to the Tobin juvenile detention center on County Home Road, Lisbon to assist with a combative juvenile. When deputies arrived, staff advised the juvenile was back in his cell. Deputies spoke to him and he was very hostile. The supervisor present at Tobin said he could stay in his cell until he calmed down and deputies were told they could clear the scene.
-- A deputy at 9:09 p.m. Friday returned a call to a Center Township resident on state Route 517 who said he believed the CIA was sending signals to his brain. He was asked if he needed any medical attention and he said no and that the problems weren't serious. He just wanted a report on file.
-- An assault was reported at 10:22 p.m. March 10 at the Traveler's Inn, state Route 45, Center Township, where the victim reported a woman grabbed her by the collar of her shirt, she pushed her away and then the woman continued to grab the victim by the hair while pulling her down. The victim then punched her in the nose. The woman was also seen attempting to flatten the tires on the victim's car with a pair of scissors and beat the hood, causing dents. A warrant was issued for her arrest for assault and criminal damaging.
-- A woman on Adams Road, Unity Township at 5:50 p.m. March 10 reported a domestic violence incident at a residence on state Route 170, Middleton Township. A warrant for domestic violence and aggravated menacing was issued out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for the man.
-- Deputies were dispatched at 3:18 p.m. March 10 to Madison Township for a stolen vehicle, learning that St. Clair Township Police located the vehicle on East Liverpool Road north of Smith Ferry Road. The victim was requested to continue to that location to complete the stolen vehicle report and take custody of the vehicle. The suspect was detained by St. Clair officers, who was sitting in the driver's seat when they arrived. During questioning by deputies about the stolen vehicle, the report said it became apparent that she lied during the questioning. The victim arrived and identified the suspect as the person who took her vehicle and did not have permission. Tina Piatt, 54, Newell, W.Va., was taken into custody and charged with theft of a motor vehicle, possession of a drug abuse instrument and obstructing official business. Two smoking pipes and various drug paraphernalia were obtained during the investigation.
-- A deputy responded at 5:45 p.m. March 8 to Lakeview Drive, Hanover Township, regarding an open 911 line. The deputy was unable to make contact with anyone at the residence.
-- A deputy responded at 4:25 a.m. March 13 to Taggart Street Extension, Unity Township for a commercial alarm, but arrived and found the business was operating and employees were working.
Liverpool Township
-- Brandon Barton, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for expired tags during a March 8 traffic stop on Lisbon Street.
