Sheriff’s Office
— A deputy was dispatched at 10:49 p.m. Thursday to Family Dollar, state Route 172, Hanover township, for an alarm. All windows and doors were secure at ground level.
— A deputy responded at 4:13 p.m. Thursday to a residence on Mahoning Avenue, Knox Township, for an open 911 line. The homeowner said the number does not belong to anyone at the residence.
— Illegal dumping was reported at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday in the 500 block of Slater Road, Butler Township, for a septic truck with a hose going into the creek, possibly dumping waste. A deputy responded and checked the creek, but could not see or smell anything.
— A deputy was dispatched at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday to the 33100 block of Baker Road, Hanover Township, for an open 911 line. The deputy checked the area but had no contact with anyone.
— A report was sent to Child Protective Services after a deputy was dispatched at 4:16 p.m. Wednesday to state Route 45, Center Township for a juvenile-related call.
— Deputies responded at 7:10 p.m. March 1 to Center Street, Lisbon regarding a civil matter. Deputies spoke to all parties involved and advised a report would be on file.
— A deputy checked the area of McIntosh Road, Madison Township regarding an animal-related call at 9:30 p.m. Feb. 27 for horses walking down the road. No horses were found after a check of the area.
— A hit-skip accident was reported at the Swift Mart, state Route 14, Unity Township at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26. A deputy collected photos of the vehicle damaged.
