Grand Jury

LISBON — An East Liverpool man was served Sunday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for multiple drug counts.

Scott D. Shreve , 37, Alpha Street, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a fentanyl-related compound, two counts aggravated possession of drugs and three counts of possession of drugs, all fifth-degree felonies, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, lisdexamfetamine, xylazine, alprazolam and buprenorphine on March 6, 2025.

Also served with secret indictments were:

— Hayden Wright, 36, St. George Street, East Liverpool, having weapons while under disability, a third-degree felony, for allegedly possessing a firearm on Nov. 26, 2025 while prohibited from having weapons due to a previous felony drug conviction.

— Aaron Delo, 33, State Line Road, Negley, counterfeiting, a fourth-degree felony, for an alleged counterfeiting incident on Oct. 13, 2025.

Municipal

LISBON–A Lisbon woman was fined $300 for forcefully removing two children from their home without permission and striking another person on June 1.

Rebecca Meredith, 37, Sunrise Drive, Lisbon, was fined $300 for two counts of disorderly conduct, amended from one count of assault and one count of interference with custody, for going to another person’s residence in East Palestine to take their two children from the residence without consent, enter the residence without consent or announcing themself and remove one child from the other person’s arms and strike them in the face causing a laceration to their lip before walking into the living room and while attempting to pick up the second child pushed the other person before leaving the residence with both children on June 1.

Donald Smith, 66, Speidel Road, Lisbon, was bound over to the grand jury charged with third-degree felony OVI, and misdemeanor driving under suspension, and a charge of open container was dismissed.
