Sheriff Reports
— A deputy responded at 8:37 p.m. Saturday to the American Legion in Glenmoor on Y & O Road, East Liverpool, for a traffic complaint, with a person calling to report his driveway was blocked and EMS almost hit a few cars on the road. The supervisor of the American Legion was contacted, an announcement was made and the vehicles were moved.
— A deputy returned a call at 3:57 p.m. Saturday regarding a civil matter on Ridge Road, West Township. The deputy spoke with both parties involved and advised them how to proceed.
— A protection order out of Mahoning County was served at 1:57 p.m. Saturday against a person on Lake Point Drive, Knox Township.
— A resident on Y & O Road, Madison Township reported at 10:09 p.m. Friday that a man in a black Chevy Cavalier with tinted windows arrived at his residence asking all kinds of questions about himself and the property. The man left and the resident wanted a report on file.
— A man on Roberts Road, Fairfield Township reported at 8:26 p.m. Friday that multiple drones were in the sky flying close to his residence.
— A deputy was dispatched at 6:47 p.m. Friday to the Columbiana County Career and Technical Center for an alarm drop, checking all doors and windows and finding the building secure with no signs of forced entry.
— Columbiana County child protective services requested a welfare check at 5:20 p.m. Friday on a 5-year-old juvenile at a residence on Pleasant View Drive, Center Township. The deputy had no contact with the child or guardian at the residence, but did talk to the guardian via phone who said they weren’t at the residence and the child was fine.
— A man from Beaver Falls, Pa. reported at 3:21 p.m. Friday that his cell phone was stolen from L & M Greenhouse, Columbiana Waterford Road, Fairfield Township and the cell phone was showing a location on South Elm Street, Columbiana. Columbiana Police checked the location with no contact.
— A deputy was dispatched at 5:56 p.m. Friday to state Route 518, Wayne Township for a found property report. The deputy confiscated the property, which was an Ohio license plate, and attempts were made to contact the owner, with no contact made at that time.
— A deputy was dispatched at 8:54 p.m. Thursday to Bower Road, Minerva for a domestic violence report. Warrants were issued for domestic violence and aggravated menacing out of county Municipal Court against Christina M. Falconer, 49, Bower Road, Minerva, who was arraigned on multiple charges Monday, including domestic violence, aggravated menacing and menacing.
— A man on Glasgow Road, Wayne Township reported at 8:22 p.m. Thursday that a fraudulent invoice from Walmart for $62 was mailed to him.
— A resident on McCloskey Road, Unity Township reported at 3:36 p.m. Thursday that someone took the hinges off of his gate to gain access to his property. He said no one has permission to be on his property.
— A deputy was dispatched at 3:21 p.m. Thursday to the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts, state Route 45, Center Township for a welfare check on a man whose door on his vehicle was hanging open. The deputy spoke with the man of Hanoverton who said he was fine and there were no issues.
