LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Jan. 14 for Daniel A. Dochterman, 58, last known address West Wilson Street, Salem, charged with breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly making entry into a residence in Salem on Jan. 6. The victim said no one should have been there and he wanted to press charges.
A pretrial was set March 24 for Matthew Miller, 35, Taylor Road, Negley, charged with domestic violence for allegedly being verbally and physically abusive to a woman, grabbing, hitting or pinching her on her arms, legs and face and grabbing her by the hair and hitting her face off of the wall on Jan. 3 in Middleton Township.
Sean R. Burnett, 19, East Fifth Street, Salem, was fined $300 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for assault. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service. Burnett stopped his vehicle and struck a victim in the mouth after the victim yelled at him to slow down in Salem on June 7, 2025.
Patrick Wayne Gill, 24, South 14th Street, Sebring, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and an education course. Gill was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for $60, then arriving in East Palestine on Dec. 5 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession. He also possessed nachos and cheese he was requested to bring.
A pretrial was set March 11 for Jeremy Landon Young, 40, Springfield, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money, then driving to East Palestine on Dec. 24, 2025 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Robert Lee McMaster, 57, Spillway Road, Lisbon, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money, then driving to East Palestine on Dec. 24, 2025 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Jason Alexander Rodgers, 43, Zelienople, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money, then driving to East Palestine on Dec. 23, 2025 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Gregory John Winich, 63, New Brighton, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a woman in exchange for money, then driving to East Palestine on Dec. 23 for the meeting with the phone used to make the arrangements in his possession.
A pretrial was set March 23 for David Andrew Vallera, 61, Wood Street, Wellsville, charged with three counts of theft for allegedly stealing 24-ounce beers from the Calcutta Sheetz on three different occasions on Jan. 1, Jan. 2 and Jan. 6, with the beers valued at $2.78, $2.59 and $2.59.
A pretrial was set Jan. 21 for Bud Nelson Hull, 46, West Ninth Street, East Liverpool, charged with disorderly conduct-presence of emergency facility person for allegedly yelling and making threats to another man in East Liverpool on Jan. 6. Officers were able to detain Hull and found a large knife in his rear right pants pocket and noted he continued his allegedly erratic behavior while being interviewed.
Sterling A. Henry, 27, Youngstown, was fined $620 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 30 days served, for resisting arrest, obstructing official business, reasonable control, no seat belt, two counts driving under suspension and two counts possess instruments to ingest. Henry was accused of pulling away from officers during a traffic stop on April 2, 2025 in Center Township and attempting to hide something that was in his pants. The affidavit said suspected narcotics were found in his pants. On Oct. 22, 2025, he was found in possession of several bags of suspected narcotics hidden in his pants and wallet during a traffic stop in Elkrun Township.
A pretrial was set March 24 for Ashley Anderson, 33, Spillway Road, Lisbon, charged with theft and criminal mischief. On Nov. 17, 2025, she allegedly used her place of work to steal some items, leaving with unpaid items valued at $150 from the store. On Sept. 16, 2025, she was accused of removing a security camera from a property on Depot Road, Lisbon, leaving the camera in the bushes.
Dawson Rogenski, 18, West Salem Street, Columbiana, was fined $300 for underage consumption and disorderly conduct. A charge of obstructing official business was dismissed. Rogenski was accused of being intoxicated and disorderly, ignoring commands of Columbiana police officers who went to a noise complaint on Oct. 11, 2025 on West Salem Street and found people standing around a fire in the driveway who fled, with empty beer cans throughout the driveway. Once he was placed under arrest, he began screaming and smacking his head on the partition of the patrol car.
Hananiah K. Chamberlain, 19, Madison Drive, Columbiana, was fined $300 for underage consumption and disorderly conduct amended from failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer. A charge of obstructing official business was dismissed. Columbiana Police were called to a disturbance on West Salem Street on Oct. 11, 2025 and found a large underage party, which people fled. Chamberlain was caught by police hiding next to a shed after allegedly fleeing the party.
Morgan Mae Murphy, 26, Cleveland Street, Salem, was fined $1,075 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended, and $500 credit plus credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for operating a vehicle impaired, with no fine for reasonable control. Another OVI was dismissed. Murphy’s driver’s license was suspended for two years, with driving privileges granted, and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
Dustin J. Holderbaum, 22, Navarre, was fined $1,265 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI, driving under suspension and reasonable control. His driver’s license was suspended for two years, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
Pamela J. Sisco, 58, Moore Street, East Liverpool, was fined $550 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for left of center and physical control amended from OVI. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service and her driver’s license was suspended, with driving privileges granted.
Michael Gbur, 60, West Eighth Street, Salem, was fined $1,325 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 177 days suspended and credit for three days served, for OVI and driving under suspension. His driver’s license was suspended for two years and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set March 16 for Vincent Syvertsen, 28, Salem Alliance Road, Salem, charged with OVI second offense and reasonable control.
A pretrial was set March 18 for Singh Lovepreet, 31, Calcutta, charged with OVI first offense and left of center.
A pretrial was set March 11 for Charles A. Moore II, 39, Franklin Avenue, Salem, charged with reasonable control.

LISBON — Sakeem J. Griffin, 26, Cincinnati, was served Tuesday with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury for grand theft, a fourth-degree felony, for allegedly stealing $11,697 over a period from April 29, 2024 to June 28, 2024.
