Sheriff’s Office
— A deputy at 5:53 p.m. Monday conducted a welfare check at a residence on Butcher Road, Leetonia and made contact with the person involved. The person advised they were ok.
— A deputy was dispatched at 3:41 p.m. Sunday to Gorby’s in Negley regarding an ATV complaint, checked the area, but made no contact with any vehicles.
— Deputies responded at 8:15 p.m. Saturday to Italo’s in Lisbon, state Route 45, regarding a suspicious vehicle. Deputies made contact with the driver and learned he works at Italo’s and accidentally fell asleep in his truck. He advised he would be leaving soon.
— A woman on Georgetown Road, Butler Township reported at 5:14 p.m. Saturday that she confronted two trespassers on her property and they took off running.
— A man on Bell Road, Elkrun Township reported at 4:46 p.m. Saturday that another man from Oak Street, Center Township, continuously keeps driving past his residence filming, taking pictures, beeping the horn and revving the vehicle’s engine. He said this has been going on almost on a daily basis for months now.
— A deputy was dispatched at 11:04 p.m. Friday to Homeworth Road, Knox Township for a 911 text to dispatch that was blank. Contact was made with the homeowner, who said everything was fine.
— Neighbor troubles were reported at 4:47 p.m. Friday on County Airport Road, Madison Township. A deputy returned the call and advised the person how to proceed.
— A deputy was dispatched at 3:35 p.m. Friday to Meadow Wood Drive, Butler Township, for a juvenile-related report. The juvenile was transported to a hospital in Mahoning County by Damascus EMS.
— A man on Old state Route 45, Madison Township, called at 9:25 p.m. Thursday to request removal of a Lisbon woman who was intoxicated on his property and refusing to leave. A deputy gave the woman a courtesy ride to her residence.
— A Boardman woman reported at 7:58 p.m. Thursday that her sister has a protection order filed on her out of Columbiana County Common Pleas Court and she needs to get her belongings from the residence in Fairfield Township. She was advised she needs a court order to get back onto the property with a deputy.
— A deputy responded at 11:29 p.m. Jan. 21 to Barnett’s Drive Thru, U.S. Route 62, Butler Township, for a person who was walking who slipped on the ice and accidentally stabbed himself in the chest with a knife that was in his pocket. Goshen Township Police assisted and Damascus EMS transported the victim to a hospital in Portage County.
St. Clair Township
–An officer was dispatched on Jan. 14 to St. Clair Avenue near Pizza Hut to remove a rock from the middle of the road.
–An officer checked Sprucevale Road near the overlook on Jan. 14 for a car that was reported to have been parked there for some time.
–A female who was intoxicated and being uncooperative was detained while officers investigated a fight reported between two females on Jan. 14. The other female involved told officers that she had told the detained female to quit hitting her own boyfriend and then the detained female began hitting her. Multiple witnesses confirmed the story. After being told the by the officers that they needed statements, the female decided that because they were friends, she did not want to press charges.
–An officer patrolling Dresden Avenue on Jan. 15 came upon a car with its four-ways on and stopped. The driver told the officer that AAA had already notified Calcutta Towing.
