Sheriff’s Office
— A deputy responded at 10:13 p.m. Sunday to Leetonia Road, Salem Township, near Crestview Road, regarding cows in the roadway. The deputy found the cows and was eventually able to find the owner and herd the cows home.
— An alarm was reported at 5:38 p.m. Sunday at a Tomahawk Drive, Middleton Township residence, which a deputy found secure. Contact was made with the owners and the residence was checked with them and they advised everything was good.
— Justin Lee Vasquez, 34, East Liverpool Road, Lisbon, was charged with domestic violence and aggravated menacing and taken to the Columbiana County jail after deputies were dispatched at 7:15 p.m. Saturday to East Liverpool Road, Madison Township for a domestic violence report. Vasquez appeared in county Municipal Court, with a pretrial set for Jan. 26.
— A woman residing on Old Irondale Road, Yellow Creek Township reported at 5:10 p.m. Saturday that a man at her neighbor’s property keeps revving his dirt bike and she felt this was targeted harassment on her, due to other incidents she has had with him.
— A deputy a 4:33 p.m. Saturday returned a call regarding a civil matter on Malone Road, Washington Township.
— A deputy was dispatched at 3:17 p.m. Saturday to McCracken Road, Salem Township for a juvenile-related report, with the report sent to child protective services.
