East Liverpool
– A driver with an expired temporary tag was given a verbal warning following a Dec. 27 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.
– A driver with only one headlight was issued a verbal warning following a Jan. 27 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.
– An Officer advised a male to stop panhandling and to leave the apartments where he was panhandling on Sixth Street on Dec. 27.
– Officers told a female at an Odgen Street residence that she would need to start eviction proceedings to get her boyfriend out of the residence if she didn’t want him there due to his name also being on the lease. The female was advised to stay somewhere else for a while since the boyfriend had a new girlfriend in the residence with him.
– Officers responding to the vault for a report of a disturbance on Dec. 27 were told on their arrival that the male causing the issues had left the premises.
Liverpool Township
– Rabia Has El Haj Benali, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for a stop sign violation following a Jan. 3 traffic stop on Anderson Boulevard.
– Scott Shreve, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and mandatory court date for driving with suspended license, third offense, a fourth-degree felony, and expired plates following a Jan. 3 traffic stop on Columbia Drive. Shreve was found to have six open suspensions. First Class Towing impounded the vehicle.
– David Pittman was issued a citation for speed for going 44 mph in a 25-mph zone following a Jan. 3 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
– Millisa Clendenning, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for speed at 41 mph in a 25-mph zone following a Jan. 3 traffic stop on Boring Lane.
– Phillip Ferry, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for expired plates following a Jan. 4 traffic stop on state Route 7.
– Keith Merriman, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and a mandatory court date for driving with suspended license, expired plates and no brake lights. The vehicle he was driving along with trailer he was towing was impounded by First Class Towing.
St. Clair Township
– An officer responded to radio traffic of a house fire on Birch Road to see if police could be of assistance on Jan. 2
– Officers conducting a welfare check on Jan. 2 at a Bell School Road residence spoke with the person of concern who told them he was fine.
– Officers searched an area of Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on Jan. 2 after it was reported there were possibly multiple people hiding inside a trailer behind a residence.
Sheriff’s Office
— A man on state Route 45, Center Township, reported at 8:09 p.m. Thursday that his neighbor from Black Road, Center Township, was in his vehicle in the roadway in front of the man’s house, revving the engine, waving his middle finger at the residence, yelling and causing a disturbance while the man was inside.
— A woman on Black Road, Center Township, reported at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday that she heard a loud explosion at the neighbor’s residence, saying she was scared for her life, her residence shook and she felt this was a way of harassment from the neighbor. A deputy spoke with the neighbor, state Route 45, Center Township, who had a small brush pile burning on the property and said there was a little pop in the fire, but it wasn’t that loud or intentional. Both residents were told to have no contact with each other.
