— A driver was issued a warning for a headlight out following a Dec. 23 traffic stop on Market Street.
— Officers on Dec. 23 advised a female at an Ambrose Street residence to contact them before a male into the residence to gather his belongings if he comes back.
— An officer was sent to assist Hancock County on a traffic stop that ended in East Liverpool’s jurisdiction on Route 30 on Dec. 23. The officers stood by while Hancock County finished their traffic stop.
— Officers arrived at a Thompson Avenue residence on Dec. 23 after receiving a complaint from a hospice worker about the family not allowing her to give the patient the proper care she needed. Officers spoke to the son of the patient who holds power of attorney for her, and he told them he didn’t want anyone there but the hospice worker and patient’s brother. The officers told the rest of the family to leave due to everyone arguing and being uncivil.
— An officer observing Amanda Kiger, age and address not provided, who is known to have a suspended license driving on Dec. 23 on Dresden Avenue and conducted a traffic stop after confirming the license suspension. Kriger told the officer she had driving privileges in an email on her phone but was unable to provide the documentation. Kriger was cited and issued a court date for driving under suspension.
— Dalton Freeman, 23, address not provided, was arrested and charged with domestic violence after police responded to a domestic call at a Shadylane residence on Dec. 23. The arrest was made after officers talked to Freeman, the victim, a child present during the incident, and another witness.
— An officer heading westbound on state Route 39 on Dec. 23 noticed a vehicle coming behind him with only parking lights on and conducted a traffic stop. The driver said she didn’t realize her lights weren’t on. She was issued a verbal warning.
— An officer advised a female who reported a missing package from a Park Avenue residence on Dec. 23 to speak with court staff about the incident since the package was delivered to a residence where a male, she currently has a protection order against resides.
— An officer responded on Dec. 23 to a Pennsylvania Avenue residence for a complaint about a semi-truck driver driving past the residence and blowing his horn six or seven times.
