Sheriff Reports

— A deputy assisted with traffic control at 5:26 p.m. Saturday at the scene of a multiple-vehicle accident at state Route 45 and Georgetown Road in Perry Township.

— A deputy was dispatched at 9:51 p.m. Friday to Mill Street, Salineville for a property report, with Brandi Jo Glover, Mill Street, Salineville charged with criminal mischief, the sheriff’s report said.

— Killian P. McHenry, 21, North Market Street, Lisbon, called dispatch at 6:48 p.m. Friday and advised he had an active warrant out of Columbiana County and needed picked up and taken to jail. He was in the parking lot of McDonald’s, state Route 45, Lisbon. Dispatched confirmed the active warrant and a deputy took McHenry into custody. He was taken to the county jail. According to court records, the charges include theft and criminal trespass.

— Hanover Township EMS at 4:08 p.m. Friday requested assistance with a person who fell outside their residence on Votaw Drive, Hanover Township, and was intoxicated. A deputy responded and assisted with helping the injured person walk to the ambulance. Hanover Township EMS transported the person to Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem.

— A deputy conducted a welfare check at 7:25 p.m. Thursday on Foundry Hill Road, Salineville, but was unable to make contact with the person. The original caller was contacted and advised how to proceed.

— Neighbor troubles were reported at 4:50 p.m. Thursday on Bayard Road, West Township. A deputy spoke to both parties involved.

— An alarm was reported at 2:12 a.m. Thursday at Dollar General, West Main Street, Salineville. A deputy found all doors secure with no signs of forced entry.

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 31 to state Route 39 near McCormick Run Road,Yellow Creek Township, regarding an accident. The deputy spoke to both parties involved and was advised there were no injuries. The deputy took photos and insurance information and told them a report would be on file if needed.

St. Clair Township

— Officers checked the area of state Route 267 and Walker Road after receiving a call about two shots fired.

— A state Route 267 resident officers he wanted extra watch on his property after reporting an unknown older male walking into his house and then saying he was in the wrong house then leaving in a grey vehicle on Dec. 23.

— Officers filed a report for a private property crash occurring at Burger King on Dec. 24.

— A driver was given a verbal warning for no license plate light following a Dec. 23 traffic stop on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road.

— Officers responded to the Highland Apartments for a complaint made by a resident saying that it sounded like there was someone in her apartment snoring and her dog was acting funny. Officers located the source of the noise as her fan.

— An officer made contact with a driver reported to be driving recklessly on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on Dec. 24. The driver told the officer she was coming home from the mall and looking for deer. The officer found the driver not to be intoxicated.

— An officer at Sheetz on Dec. 24 was approached by a female who told them there was a couple that appeared to be slumped over in their vehicle in front of the store. Officers spoke with the couple who told them that they were just resting before traveling back to Wooster. The driver was checked for impairments with none found.

— Officers checked the area of Moore Road for reported drug activity on Dec. 24.

— Officers contacted Columbiana County Sheriff’s Office after locating a person reported as a suspicious male on East Liverpool Road on Dec. 24 who ran into the roads when an officer attempted to talk to the male.

— Officers fired two rounds to put down a deer that had been hit and was missing one of its backs legs on the side of East Liverpool Road on Dec. 24.

— A couple residing on Lisbon Street were told officers would do extra checks on their property after the female observed a male standing outside her garage when she took her dog out on Dec. 25. The couple also told officers they discovered there back screen door which is usually closed open, but nothing seemed out of place and that a couple weeks prior the female noticed her car door open and the car had been gone through but she didn’t report it at the time because she was rushing to get to work.

— A male on Dec. 25, was advised by officers to leave a Third Street residence that he was no longer welcome at due to causing issues and if he returned, he would be arrested. The male left the residence without incident.

— Officers checked the area of Y&O and East Liverpool roads for a report of a person riding a lawn mower in the middle of the street on Dec. 25.

— A male told police he thinks he may have been pickpocketed at Walmart on Dec. 26. The male said he for his items at Walmart and on his way to his vehicle an unknown person bumped into him. He left Walmart and went to the gas station and then realized his wallet was gone. He checked back at Walmart but no one turned his wallet into lost and found.

— Officers fired two rounds to put down a deer hit by a car on Calcutta Smith Ferry Road on Dec. 27.

— A driver was given a warning following a Dec. 27 traffic on state Route 170 for failing to stop at a red light.

— An officer was flagged down on state Route 170 on Dec. 28 and told that one of the tree service trucks in Calcutta Square had an open door. The officer checked all the vehicles and they appeared secure.

— Kayde Banister was issued a citation for reckless operation on private property after being observed by an officer on Dec. 28 at Dunham’s Plaza traveling at a high rate of speed through two stop signs and cross walks putting all customers in the plaza at risk. Banister said it was stupid and he was just trying to impress a girl walking into a store.

— A report was filed for damage to a vehicle in Giant Eagle parking lot on Dec. 29, after the vehicle was hit by the door to another vehicle when the door was caught by the wind.
