— A deputy at 8:36 p.m. Monday returned a call regarding an unruly juvenile on McGeehan Road, Wayne Township, advising the person how to proceed. The deputy also spoke with the juvenile and was advised both parties would be civil.
— Deputies were dispatched at 8:10 p.m. Saturday to Unity Township at a Hawkins Road property for a protection order violation. The caller said a man was on the property and appeared intoxicated and the caller had a protection order against him. He allegedly sat in the protected person’s vehicle and pounded on the garage door entering the house and back door. Deputies found him inside the garage and took him into custody. In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Dec. 29 for Dorian T. Lowrey, 50, Enon Valley, Pa., charged with violating a protection order, a fifth-degree felony.
— An alarm was reported at 8:11 p.m. Friday at JP Plumbing, state Route 45, Center Township. A deputy checked the property and found everything locked and secured from ground level.
— A man on Elk Avenue, Center Township reported at 5:37 p.m. Friday that his two dogs got loose and an unknown neighbor was yelling that they’ll shoot the dogs if they come onto their property. Deputies checked the area, but were unable to locate the neighbor who was yelling.
— Deputies were dispatched at 3:40 p.m. Friday to Apples Way Circle, Fairfield Township, for a person who needed transported to the hospital, but may become aggressive when an ambulance arrives. Upon arrival, the person was fine and Leetonia EMS transported the person to a hospital in Mahoning County.
— A domestic dispute was reported at 6:53 p.m. Dec. 17 on Old Monroeville Road, Salineville. Deputies spoke with both people involved and were advised it was regarding some medical issues. Nothing was physical. One person went to a hospital willingly due to mental health issues.
