Sheriff’s Office
— A resident on state Route 39, Washington Township, reported at 5:51 p.m. Wednesday that her neighbor trespassed on her property multiple times and was feeding her horses. She said she has no trespassing signs around the property.
— A welfare check was requested at 7:35 a.m. Wednesday at an address on Eagleton Road, Salem Township, where the caller said a person made unconfirmed threats of self harm and could not longer be reached. A deputy made contact with the person at the residence who said they were fine and were not in need of any medical attention or wanting to harm themselves or others.
— An open 911 line was reported at 7:15 a.m. Wednesday on Hunters Camp Road, Center Township. A deputy made contact with the residents and learned a house guest accidentally dialed 911. The deputy confirmed that no one in the house needed assistance.
— A deputy was dispatched at 6 p.m. Monday to the area of Cameron Road, Madison Township to assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a reported accident. The deputy checked the immediate and surrounding areas, but didn’t find the vehicle.
— A deputy at 9:17 p.m. Sunday returned a call regarding menacing on Ridge Road, West Township, speaking with the caller and advising them how to proceed.
— A deputy was dispatched at 11:44 p.m. Dec. 12 to Spillway Road, Hanover Township for a domestic violence report.
Patrol
— There were no citations issued for a Nov. 27 crash in Fairfield Township. Avery C. Bronn, of Cedar Hill, Texas, was northbound on state Route 11 at 5:37 p.m. when he lost control of a vehicle due to the icy road conditions and struck a bridge.
— Isaiah Cambridge, of Steubenville, also was not cited for his crash at 4:34 p.m. Nov. 27 in Fairfield Township, after he went off the left side of state Route 11 while northbound and struck a guardrail.
— Elizabeth Fowler, of East Clark Avenue in East Palestine, was cited for a right-of-way violation, after her crash at 5:34 p.m. Nov. 26 in Unity Township. Constantin Antonie, of Vienna, was southbound on state Route 14, when Fowler backed out a private drive, failed to yield and struck him before continuing off the road and striking an embankment.
— No citation was issued regarding a Center Township crash on Dec. 2. Charlie Honeycutt, of Chestnut St., was northbound at 7:20 a.m. on state Route 45 when he lost control on the snowy highway and slid off the left side of he road, striking a ditch before overturning.
— Cherly Cumberledge, of Kibler Road in New Waterford, was cited at 5:43 p.m. Nov. 27 in Salem Township with failure to control, after her southbound vehicle lost control on state Route 165 and slid of the right side of snow covered road backwards and over an embankment.
— Phillip Menegay of Canton was not cited after a Knox Township crash at 4:26 a.m. Dec. 2. Menegay was westbound on Georgetown Road and went off the left side of the road and hit an utility pole.
— Paul Joy, of East Fifth Street in Salem, was cited at 6 a.m. Nov. 29 in Center Township for failure to control, after his northbound vehicle traveled off the left side of Black Road while negotiating a curve, striking a ditch and a stationary car on the side of the road that had involved in an earlier crash and was awaiting a tow truck.
— Brooklynn Haught, of Dutchtown School Road in Rogers, was cited at 6:08 p.m. Nov. 27 for failure to control, after her northwest bound vehicle went off the right side of Kelly Park Road and struck a ditch.
