St. Clair Township

— A female came to the police station on Nov. 29 inquiring if officers could go to her sister’s house where she left her purse and see if they could go with her to get her purse.

— An officer notified a drug task force agent on Nov. 29 that he was following a truck on Gaston Avenue which he believed to be driven by a person of interest. When the truck turned into a BP Station officers identified the driver who was under suspension but was able to disclose the location of the person of interest.

— A driver was given a warning for no registration sticker following a Nov. 29 traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue.

— A female told officers on Nov. 29 that she wanted a report filed on her wallet containing credit cards and her social security being stolen in July.

— Officers found the Dollar General on state Route 170 to be secure after checking the location due to an alarm on Nov. 29.

— An officer dispatched state Route 170 on Nov. 29 for a truck stuck in a ditch searched the area and found a dirt trail from the ditch which continued down the road.

— An officer on patrol on Nov. 30 noticed an interior fire alarm at Alpha Care going off and notified dispatch who contacted the keyholder. The officer went into the building with the keyholder and found everything appeared to be normal.

— A male came to the police station on Nov. 30 to file a stolen vehicle report after waiting for more than two months to get the money for the vehicle which he said was sold by someone else who didn’t have the authority to sell it.

— Officers searched the area of Duke Road Lot 2 on Nov. 30 for a couple of individuals knocking on windows of the residence. Officers were not able to locate anyone but advise residents they would do extra checks.

East Liverpool

— The police department received three separate calls on Nov. 29 regarding two males on Henry Avenue acting suspicious. Officers spoke with one of the callers who said the males headed toward an abandoned house and they were there about an hour and walked back down the road and were met by three different cars and then they were picked up in a white Toyota.

— A male was transported to his mother’s house and left in her custody after officers were called to Lisbon Street for the male walking in the roadway on Nov. 29. The officers detected the odor of alcohol coming from the male.

— A female came to the station on Nov. 29 to report harassment from her ex-boyfriend. She told officers he constantly texts her threatening messages and showed officers the messages. The female said she wanted the harassment documented. Officers advised her on how to get a protection order and said they would have Hancock County make contact with him at his West Virginia residence and tell him to stop contacting her or charges would be filed.

— After responding to an alarm on Nov. 29 at a church on West 5th Street, officers checked the location and found the front door unlocked. Officers cleared the building, and a keyholder came and said he would reset the alarm.

— An officer checked the area of Grant Street on Nov. 29 after receiving a complaint of three males acting suspicious on Lincoln and Grant streets.

— Officers made contact with the female they were requested to do a welfare check on at her Moore Street residence on Nov. 29

— A male called to report the landlord turning off the water in his Dresden Avenue residence on Nov. 29.

— After being called to a possible domestic at a 4th Street residence on Nov. 29, officers spoke with the couple who said they weren’t fighting, they were just watching TV and throwing some food around.

— An officer conducted a civil standby at a Louise Street residence on Nov. 29 so a male could remove his items from the front porch.

— A female reported to police that she and her husband are going through a divorce and while the husband has left the John Street residence, he has the neighbors watching the house and reporting to him who is coming and going.

— Officers were requested at Auto Zone on Third Street on Nov. 29 for a person to be removed, but once they arrived, they found the caller had the wrong subject.

— Jason Wiley, age and address not provided, was issued a citation for failing to stop at a red light following a Nov. 29 traffic stop on West 6th Street.

— Wiliam Pla, age and address not provided, was issued a citation and court date for failure to control after hitting an orange construction sign on state Route 11 on Nov. 29.

— Officers filed a report with children protective services after responding to a call telling them that juveniles in the back seat of a car in the Giant Eagle parking lot were being beaten and had no coats or shoes on in the 35-degree weather. Officers spoke with the couple with the kids and questioned the children’s attire. The couple said the juveniles had coats but refused to wear them. In addition, charges for neglect are being sent for children protective services to review.
