— A driver was given a verbal warning following a Nov. 20 traffic stop on state Route 267 for plates registered to a white GMC on a vehicle appearing to be a red Chevy. The driver said he was in the process of fixing the old white truck by using scrap parts off his other truck which was red. The officer looked at the vehicle and verified that the vehicle was white.

— A driver was given a warning following a Nov. 20 traffic stop on state Route 170 for an expired registration.

— An officer waited next to a downed telephone pole leaning across the roadway on state Route 170 pm Nov. 20 until the CVFD arrived to sit with the pole until the power company could get there.

— An officer responded to the area of St. Clair Avenue and H&R Block on Nov. 21 for a reported minor traffic accident. The officer searched the area but did not see anything.

— An officer checking out a noise complaint at a Birch Road residence on Nov. 21 checked around the house which was completely dark and found no music playing.

— Officers spoke with a male in the Arby’s parking lot who was reported to be following his ex-wife on Nov. 21, and he told them it was his weekend to have his daughter. He was advised that it was a civil matter and to call his attorney and if he continued to follow his ex-wife, he could be charged.

— Officers responded to state Route 170 on Nov. 21 for a report of an automated crash detection. The officer was looking for the vehicle when dispatch notified him that a female called and said it was accidental.

— Officers arrived at a state Route 267 residence on Nov. 21 for a breaking and entering report. A female who lived next door to her father told officers she believed someone was in her dad’s garage. Officers searched the garage and found a female in the back of it. They spoke with the caller’s father who said he was aware the girl was there, but he didn’t want her there after dark and said she could come back when it was daylight. The female gathered some of her belongings and her heater and was giving a courtesy transport to Boring Lane.
