LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, cases against Courtney L. Troyer, 34, Gavers Road, Hanoverton, were bound over to the county grand jury for fourth-degree felony burglary and misdemeanor resisting arrest for allegedly illegally entering a residence on McCracken Road in Salem Township on Nov. 10 and then resisting when a deputy was taking her into custody. She was fined $75 for animals running at large for letting her dog run loose in September 2021 in Salem.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Nov. 25 for Ronnie L. Jackson, 68, Rose Drive, Lisbon, charged with third-degree felony strangulation and misdemeanor domestic violence for allegedly choking a woman and throwing her to the ground on Nov. 20 in Center Township. The affidavit said the victim, in fear for her life, kicked him and ran away to call 911.
Shane Edward McCutcheon, 37, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for 21 days served, leaving a balance of nine days still to serve in jail for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence. McCutcheon was accused of throwing an electronic tool at a woman in an attempt to hit her with it, but she ducked and the tool struck the wall and bounced back and struck her in the shoulder on Nov. 3 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Dec. 4 for Raymond Glenn Crow, 33, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with assault for allegedly shoving another man into a doorway, causing his head to hit the wall and he fell to the ground on Nov. 19 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Feb. 18 for Jayshawn Sanders, 29, Youngstown, charged with falsification for allegedly providing a false name during a traffic stop on May 23, 2015 in Elkrun Township. He was fined $150 for no valid license, no license, speeding and no seat belt.
Thomas Martin, 39, Boring Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $75 for prohibitions against violations of board orders for failing to correct the nuisance of a failing septic system at a Boring Lane, East Liverpool property as of May 27. The board order was issued by the Columbiana County Health District.
Tanya Elizabeth Powell, 36, Orchard Street, East Liverpool, was fined $1,325 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended and credit for seven days served in jail, plus credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, with $500 of the fine suspended, for operating a vehicle impaired first offense, driving under suspension and traffic control device. Her driver’s license was suspended for two years and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. She was also sentenced to 30 days in jail, with credit for seven days served, leaving a balance of 23 days still to serve in jail for violating her probation in a receiving stolen property case from 2024.
Montana M. Matheson, 25, North Beaver Street, Lisbon, was fined $1,475 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 174 days suspended, leaving six days still to serve in jail for OVI, driving under suspension and reasonable control. His driver’s license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted. He was ordered to complete 50 hours community service. Another OVI charge was dismissed.
A pretrial was set Feb. 17 for Charles A. Slocum Jr., 33, Brookfield Avenue, Lisbon, charged with OVI second offense, OVI breath second offense and failure to display valid sticker.
A pretrial was set Feb. 18 for Keith T. Simpson, 35, Warren, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and speeding.
A pretrial was set Feb. 18 for Pamela R. Webb, 65, Hillcrest Road, Wellsville, charged with OVI first offense and marked lanes.
A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Daniel Lee Matz, 46, Homeworth Road, Homeworth, charged with OVI first offense and speeding.
A pretrial was set Feb. 18 for Thomas M. Redman III, 43, Sprucevale Road, Rogers, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Feb. 10 for Sherry L. Ford, 54, Minerva, charged with speeding.
Jessica L. Jackson, 44, Metz Road, Columbiana, was fined $150 for no temporary permit.
Marlena James, 23, Center Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
Miracole Montez Bako Lenoir, 26, Youngstown, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
Robert R. Carr III, 25, Warren, was fined $50 for speeding.
Mason Scott Webber, 21, Franklin Avenue, Salem, was fined $30 for stopped school bus.
Noah Christian Homrighhausen, 20, Poland, was fined $200 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for reckless operation. He was ordered to complete 15 hours community service.
Melody Legg, 21, Alliance, was fined $100 for driving under suspension.
A charge of driving under suspension against Dustin Allen McCartney Jr., 27, Sprouse Road, Wellsville, was dismissed.
Sara Michelle Rexroad, 22, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for unauthorized plate and driving under suspension.
