Highway Patrol

— Melissa Miles, of Johnson Road in Lisbon, was cited at 12:29 p.m. Nov. 15 in Madison Township for failure to control, after her vehicle went off the left side of Glasgow Road and struck a pole.

— Michelle Marcan, of Foraker Street in Rogers, struck a fallen tree in the middle of state Route 7 at 2:33 a.m. Nov. 10 in Fairfield Township.

— Thomas Skipper, of Wilmington, N.C., was cited at 10:33 pm. Nov. 10 in Madison Township for failure to control, after his westbound vehicle traveled off the left side of state Route 518, struck an embankment and overturned.

— Terra Csernik, of Lyons Avenue in East Palestine, was cited at 11:28 a.m. Nov. 11 for a marked lanes’ violation, after striking a vehicle driven by Matthew Cutes, of Atwater, while driving on state Route 11 in Elkrun Township.

Sheriff Reports

— A deputy responded at 5:56 p.m. Tuesday to a Glasgow Road, Madison Township address regarding a suspicious vehicle. The deputy found that the vehicle was involved in an earlier incident with another agency and was taken to the wrong address. A tow compamy retrieved the vehicle and dropped it to the owners.

— A custody issue was reported at 4:47 p.m. Monday on Old Monroeville Road, Salineville, with a deputy contacting the caller and explaining the sheriff’s office does not handle custody issues and everything would need handled through the court system.

— The Ohio State Highway Patrol at 3:58 p.m. Saturday requested a welfare check on anyone at a residence on Homeworth Road, Knox Township due to being on a traffic stop with a man whose address was listed there and who had blood on the back of his head and a knife in the vehicle. A deputy spoke with another man who said everyone at the residence was fine and the person in question did not live there, but lived in Alliance.

— Deputies responded at 4:03 a.m. Saturday to Homeworth Road, Knox Township for a report of a 911 call with no one speaking. Deputies were unable to make contact with the residents inside. A call to a family member was made and directions of entry were given. The resident was found in good health and safe. Deputies shared the information with the family member.

— A deputy was dispatched at 9:36 p.m. Nov. 13 to Grant Street, Center Township, for a medical call involving a man who was unconscious and not breathing and there was arguing in the background. Upon a deputy arriving with Northstar EMS, the man signed a medical refusal.

— A caller from Mattix Road, Center Township, reported at 8:55 p.m. Nov. 14 that a vehicle was going up and down the road and now was parked in front of the residence with its lights off. The vehicle was gone when a deputy arrived.

— A woman on North Street, Knox Township, reported at 8:31 p.m. Nov. 14 that her daughter and her boyfriend live with her and were upstairs yelling and screaming at each other. When a deputy arrived, she said they left walking on foot when she advised she called the sheriff’s office. The deputy checked the area, but had no contact with them.

— A deputy was dispatched at 7:37 p.m. Nov. 14 to Whinnery Road, Butler Township, for a juvenile-related report.

— A deputy was dispatched at 6:43 p.m. Nov. 14 to Travelers Inn, state Route 45, Center Township, for a domestic violence report involving a man and woman screaming. A refusal was signed by both of them.

— A Fairfield Township woman reported at 5:51 p.m. Nov. 14 that an unknown man pulled into her driveway on state Route 164 in a vehicle, knocked on her door and left.

— A deputy at 5:16 p.m. Nov. 14 went to East Liverpool with the police department to serve a warrant on Kayla M. Foster, 35, Ravine Street, East Liverpool. Arrangements were made for her juvenile son and she was taken into custody and taken to jail. She also received an additional charge of resisting arrest for pulling away from the deputy and trying to escape while being handcuffed. A pretrial is set Dec. 4 in county Municipal Court.

— A private property accident was reported at 5:04 p.m. Nov. 13 at a state Route 164, Washington Township property where a woman backed into a Marlboro Towing vehicle, causing damage.

— A man from the state of New York reported at 12:23 p.m. Nov. 13 that he put his cross bow next to his vehicle to go retrieve a deer and when he returned, it was missing at Hellbender Bluff Park, East Liverpool Road, Madison Township. He later called back and said he found his cross bow.

— Deputies at 1:49 a.m. Nov. 14 assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate a Kensington man Carroll County attempted to stop who fled. Deputies had no contact with the man at his residence and he did not return while deputies were in the area looking for him. He’s wanted by Carroll County on warrants.

— A woman on Shore Lane Road, Hanover Township, called at 3:47 p.m. Nov. 13 to request a welfare check on a neighbor. A deputy spoke with the neighbor who said she was fine.
