LISBON — An East Liverpool man who entered a guilty plea to possessing images of child pornography was sentenced to three years of community control. Timothy Gregg, 37, Riverview Street, pleaded guilty to three counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony, and three counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in a nudity-oriented material or performance. The date of the offenses occurred on Feb. 14, 2024. Gregg’s community control includes serving a definite term of 75 days local incarceration in the Columbiana County Jail, with credit given for three days served, leaving a balance of 72 days to be served.
Also in Common Pleas Court:
— Lonnie Cunningham, 32, Riverview Street, East Liverpool, was sentenced to 18 months in prison after entering a guilty plea to felony-two burglary, felony-four receiving stolen property and OVI with credit for 247 days served. He also received a five-year license suspension and was fined $565. Cunningham trespassed in an occupied structure to commit theft on Nov. 22, 2024.
— Christina Seybert, 39, Beaver Falls, Pa. was sentenced to three years of community control for two separate cases, including an amended charge of attempted illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of a specified governmental facility, a fourth-degree felony, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and misdemeanors of possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia. On Oct. 1, 2022, she possessed methamphetamine, buprenorphine and drug paraphernalia and attempted to take drugs into a detention facility.
Grand Jury
LISBON — Donald Weyland, 57, Monaca Street, East Liverpool, was recently served with a secret indictment by the Columbiana County Grand Jury. Weyland was indicted on one count each of second-degree felony theft, misdemeanor theft and misdemeanor criminal damaging. According to the indictment, on or about July 19 Weyland did, by force, stealth, or deception, trespass in an occupied structure, did with purpose to deprive the owner of property or services and did knowingly cause or create a substantial risk of physical harm by any means to property of another.
