LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a pretrial was set July 24 for Jared Malmsberry, 31, Thomas Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence and weapons while intoxicated for allegedly pointing a gun at the victim, the dog and television and then discharging a round into the ceiling after drinking and arguing on July 17 at a residence on East Liverpool Road in St. Clair Township.
Elliott McMurray, 35, Empire Street, Leetonia, was fined $450 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for misdemeanor fleeing and eluding amended from a felony, disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence and a stop sign violation. A charge of reckless operation was dismissed. McMurray was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. He jabbed a woman in the shoulder while making threats against her during an altercation June 15 in Lisbon, then fled the scene and police attempting a traffic stop.
A pretrial was set Oct. 30 for Diane Davis, 59, state Route 7, New Waterford, charged with theft for allegedly skip scanning items and failing to pay for $151 worth of merchandise at the Salem Walmart on June 26.
A pretrial was set Oct. 27 for Ramel Hassan Shephard, 29, Cleveland, charged with failure to comply and a tinted glass violation for allegedly fleeing from police attempting a traffic stop for the tinted glass violation on July 17 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set Nov. 10 for Deborah Wilkinson, 61, Sprucevale Road, East Liverpool, charged with driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Nov. 13 for David Santiago Jr., 44, Chester Avenue, Wellsville, charged with two counts of speeding.
A pretrial was set Nov. 18 for William Dawson, 58, East Pennsylvania Avenue, Sebring, charged with failure to stop after an accident and reasonable control.
A pretrial was set Nov. 20 for Robert Bourgeau, 32, Tallmadge, charged with driving under suspension and speeding.

Robert A. Wilson, 56, Martins Ferry, was fined $130 for driving under suspension and a turn signal violation. He was found not guilty of a seat belt violation.
Heather Cook, 36, Martins Ferry, was fined $200 for wrongful entrustment.
Richard Springer, 38, Independence Square, Wellsville, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.

LISBON — A Wellsville man accused of hitting another man in the head with a pipe in 2023 and possessing cocaine in 2024 was ordered to prison for at least two years nine months.
Timothy Keyes, 46, Y & O Road, appeared in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court for both cases. He was sentenced to an indefinite term of two to three years for felonious assault, a second-degree felony, for the pipe assault on July 15, 2023 in East Liverpool. He received credit for 136 days in jail. He was also ordered to pay restitution of $1,130 to the victim. He was sentenced to an additional nine months in prison, to be served consecutive to the felonious assault case, after pleading guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing cocaine on Nov. 26, 2024.
