— Officers made contact July 10 with a male for a welfare check at a Cannon Mills Road residence.

— Officers filed a report for a July 11 private property crash on state Route 170.

— Officers arrived at Sheetz on July 11 for a report of a juvenile female on the hood of a reckless vehicle in the parking lot. Upon the officers’ arrival, the juveniles left the parking lot with the vehicle.

— Officers checked the Aldi’s Grocery store on state Route 170 on July 12 and found it to be secure.

— Officers were sent out for a report of gunshots on state Route 267 on July 12. The cause was fireworks.

Liverpool Township

–An unnamed driver was issued a citation and court date for speed following a July 9 traffic stop on state Route 7.

–An unnamed driver was issued a citation for expired plates advised of her court date following a July 10 traffic stop on Campground Road.

–An unnamed driver was issued a citation and court date for speed following a July 11 traffic stop on state Route 7.

–An officer responded on July 14 to an incident that occurred July 12 on Westfield Road. A post office work told the officer their driver was backing out of a residence and backed into the mailbox damaging it. The resident called the post office and worked it out. But the post office wanted it documented per policy.

–An unnamed driver was cited for speeding and given a court date following a July 14 traffic stop on state Route 7.

–An unnamed driver was issued a citation and court date for speed following a July 14 traffic stop on state Route 7.

–An unnamed driver received citations and a court date for no license and fictitious plates following a July 16 traffic stop on state Route 7.

Sheriff Reports

— A deputy responded at 4:06 p.m. Wednesday to a 911 hangup call on Pine Hollow Road, Rogers, making contact with a woman who said she must have accidentally called. She advised she was OK.

— A deputy at 3:16 p.m. Wednesday returned a call regarding a 911 hangup on Cusick Road, Lisbon, learning from the caller that everything was OK and his phone was messed up. There was also a 911 hangup from the same residence at 7:02 p.m. Tuesday. The resident was OK.

— A resident on Haiti Road, Salineville, reported at 1:21 p.m. Monday that someone shot their cat and the cat later had to be put down.

— A deputy responded at 4:13 p.m. Sunday to Wildwood Acres Campground in Madison Township for a 911 hangup call. The deputy checked the campground and did not find anyone in distress.

— An anonymous caller at 6:23 p.m. Saturday asked for a report to be sent to the Columbiana County Dog Warden that multiple dogs possibly without dog tags were on a property on Stump Road, West Township. The report was sent to the dog warden.

— A civil matter was reported at 5:24 p.m. July 17 on Waterford Road, Unity Township. A deputy spoke with both parties involved and advised them on how to proceed.
