Highway Patrol
-- Laura Gessner of Selinsgrove, Pa. was cited at 6:45 a.m. May 13 in Salem Township, after failing to yield from a stop sign at state Route 45 and Salem-Grange Road and she struck a vehicle driven by Bryan Heestand, of McCracken Road in Salem.
-- Katherine McClure, of Gaithesburg, Md., was cited at 1:25 a.m. May 17 in the city of Columbiana for failure to control, after running off the right side of the state Route 344 ramp on state Route 11 and striking a traffic sign.
-- Andrew Byler, of Salineville Road in Salineville, was cited at 5:23 p.m. May 22 for failure to control in Butler Township, after traveling off the right side of state Route 9 while southbound and striking a pole.
-- No charges have been filed yet in a single vehicle crash at 3.39 p.m. May 21 in Wayne Township. According to the investigative officer, the car has been sold twice since belonging to the registered owner, and troopers have been unable to identify the driver at the time of crash. The current owner had left the allegedly disabled red Monte Carlo parked at Highlandtown Lake, where she claims it was stolen.
-- Carter Ray, of Sycamore Drive in New Waterford, was cited at 9:48 p.m. May 21 for failure to maintain an assured clear distance in Fairfield Township. Ray had struck a vehicle driven by Mason Sanders, of Salmar Drive in Salem, on Lower Elkton Road.
-- Noah Harrison, of State Line Road in Negley, was cited at 2:33 a.m. May 18 for failure to control in Middleton Township, after driving off Darlington Road while northbound and striking a pole.
