-- Officers responded on March 28 at 10:11 p.m. to the VFW for a possible fight with a handgun involved.

-- Jason Cull, 30, address not provided, was charged with theft after officers were called to Family Dollar by employees who witnessed Cull put a drink in his bag and leave without paying.

-- An officer patrolled the area on the Wilbert Avenue playground after receiving a call reporting suspicious activity on March 28 at 11:19 p.m.

-- An officer retrieved a bike belonging to a juvenile on Etruia Street on March 28 at 3:27 p.m. from a neighbor who took the bike and said she was not returning it until the juvenile's parents got home, because the juvenile along with several others had been ringing her doorbell then running. The juveniles were told not to return to the neighbor's property.

-- Officers conducted a traffic stop on Laura Avenue on March 28 at 11:41 p.m. on a vehicle that was involved in a possible fight with a firearm and collected information.

-- A female was advised that her complaint was a civil matter after officers responded on March 28 at 6:24 p.m. to a complaint of her dog being taken from her Wilbert Avenue apartment. The female said she suspected the male with whom she traded a speaker for the dog had taken the dog which is not registered to her.

-- A female came into the police station on March 28 at 10:09 a.m. to report a theft of a license plate. She told officers that she noticed three weeks ago her license plate bolts were loose and she had to tighten them. When she went that day to renew her registration, she noticed the sticker on the plate was for Jefferson County and the plate on her vehicle was not hers.

-- Chris Bell, 28, address not provided, was arrested on an active warrant on March 28 at 8:02 p.m. after a female flagged down an officer outside the station and said he tried to sell her drugs and then took her phone and broke it. Bell said he didn't offer to sell the female drugs but was calling her names after she spit on him

-- Christopher Thomas, 38, address not provided, was taken into custody on an outstanding warrant when officers responded to a call of a person being inside an abandoned house on Etruria Street on March 28 at 6:19 p.m. Thomas exited the house when officers arrived.

Columbiana County Sheriff's Office

-- Deputies were dispatched at 8:49 p.m. Tuesday to Foundry Hill Road, Salineville for a domestic violence report. A 16-year-old was taken into custody and transported to the Tobin juvenile detention center outside Lisbon.

-- A welfare check was requested on Woodville Road, Fairfield Township at 8:57 p.m. Saturday. A deputy spoke with the person and a family member was called to the residence to be with the person, who was having some mental health issues.

-- Olive Branch Ministries, Leetonia Road, Salem Township, requested a welfare check at 5:58 p.m. Saturday on a resident who left walking. Upon arrival, the person was with staff and was fine.

-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:28 p.m. Saturday to Foracker Street, Rogers for a disturbance.

-- A welfare check was requested at 9:07 p.m. April 5 on Glasgow Road, Madison Township. A deputy spoke with the person, who was fine.
