COLUMBIANA COUNTY COURT NEWS

-- Curtis Holland, 28, Dewey Avenue, East Liverpool, was ordered to the county jail for 30 days for violating the terms of his probation for having weapons while under disability and improperly handling firearms in a motor vehicle, both felonies. His community control was dishonorably terminated. Holland had a loaded firearm in a motor vehicle on Jan. 28, 2021 and was prohibited from having a gun due to a previous felony drug conviction.

-- Heather Leaf, 47, Westview Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 20 days in the county jail for violating the terms of her probation for fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony. Her community control was dishonorably terminated. Leaf possessed fentanyl on Dec. 12, 2019.

-- Shaun Delauder, 43, Clark Street, Wellsville, was sentenced to 180 days in jail with credit for 19 days served, leaving a total of 161 days still to serve in jail for violating the terms of his intervention plan for aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. His intervention plan was dishonorably terminated. Delauder possessed methamphetamine on Feb. 16, 2022.

-- A case against Charles S.L. Bell II, 20, Blakely Street, East Liverpool, for misdemeanors of assault and criminal damaging was transferred back to county Municipal Court since the charges for the recent indictment were all misdemeanors. An affidavit alleged he discharged a pellet gun at a vehicle on Ohio Avenue in East Liverpool on March 4, damaging a window and allegedly harming a woman who was in the vehicle who said she was hit in the face with glass.
