Columbiana County Sheriff's Office
-- A deputy was dispatched at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday to Whitacre Road, Butler Township, for a medical call involving a juvenile. Damascus EMS transported the juvenile to Akron Children's in Boardman.
-- A deputy responded at 5:47 p.m. Wednesday to the Lisbon Exempted Schools bus garage, state Route 45, Center Township, for a vandalism report.
-- A disturbance was reported at 4:28 p.m. Wednesday on East Liverpool Road, Madison Township. Deputies spoke to two men, with one saying the other one owed him $5,000 for work he did on his property. The other man said he paid the first man $11,000 to do work on his property and he only did about $6,000 worth of work. They were told it's a civil matter and to contact their attorneys.
-- A man on North Shore Drive, Knox Township, reported at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday that his neighbor woman's pit bull dog was loose in his yard and attacked his dog. He said the pit bull is always loose and he wanted a report on file. He was told to contact the Columbiana County Dog Warden.
-- Deputies responded to a domestic dispute on Autumn Road, Madison Township, at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, speaking with both parties who were both intoxicated. The female didn't reside there. Both parties reported being assaulted by the other, but neither person wanted to file charges for assault and both signed refusals to cooperate. The female was transported to her family's residence after being told the male did not want her back on the premises. She was advised of the trespass request.
-- A man on state Route 154, Middleton Township, reported at 6:22 p.m. Tuesday that another man came to his residence where he was staying and tied to get him to fight with him. He didn't fight him and wanted a report on file.
-- A man on Crestview Road, Fairfield Township, reported at 12:24 p.m. Tuesday that $450 was taken out of his bank account and the bank requested he file a report.
Liverpool Township
-- On Feb. 6 at 8:06 a.m., an officer on Lisbon Street ran a license plate which came back showing the owner as suspended and conducted a traffic stop. The officer advised the driver (name, age and address not provided) that his license was suspended and his plates were illegal and the state wanted them confiscated. The vehicle was towed by First Class Towing after the officer took the plates to mail back to the state and the driver was cited for driving with illegal plates, driving under suspension-third offense in three years and released with a court date.
-- A male driver (name, age and address not provided) was issued a citation for speed and court date after being stopped for doing 36 mph in 20-mph school zone on Feb. 8 at 8:07 a.m.
-- An officer responded to a theft complaint in the 800 block of Price Street on Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. The resident said he believed it to be a relative who stole items their garage.
Wellsville Police
--Wellsville officers arrested Skylar Barber, 23, (address not provided) identifying him as the suspect in a theft at Rich Oil on Feb. 10 at 2:37 a.m. Barber was gone before officers arrived on scene. Officers later responded to a one-to-be-removed call at the Wellsville Laundry Mat. They located him on Riverside, confirmed his identity and place him under arrest.
--An officer responded on Feb. 11 at 5:31 p.m., to the 1700 block of Clark Avenue for a report of a stolen vehicle. The complainant said he believes a female known to him may have taken it. It was later noted the vehicle was recovered in St. Clair Township before reported stolen.
--A female came into the police station on Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m., to report her ex-boyfriend Lailan Chappell (age and address not provided) had violated a protection order and showed officers where he tried to contact her on Facebook Messenger. Chappell was charged with violation of protection order.
