The chief spoke to a female who said a tow truck had dropped off a car the previous night to her neighbor's residence and when it pulled out, the truck hit her mailbox.
-- The chief, while on duty responding on Nov. 24 at 10:15 a.m., to the 1800 block of Park Place Avenue where the resident reported that someone had stolen the gate at the end of his driveway.
-- An officer conducted a traffic stop in the A1 parking lot on Pennsylvania Avenue on Nov. 25 at 9:09 p.m., on a vehicle for failing to use a turn signal. The driver, Dalton Brewer, 27, (address not provided) was found to have five active suspensions on his license. During inventory of the vehicle, two baggies containing white powder residue were found. In a cigarette pack in Brewer's pocket, officers found another bag with white powder residue, a straw with residue, a pair of tweezers and a credit card with Brewer's name on it. Brewer was taken to the police department for processing and then released with two court summons and a traffic citation. The vehicle was towed by First Class Towing. St. Clair Township
-- An officer was dispatched on Nov. 19 at 2:24 p.m., to state Route 11 North for an object laying in the inside lane of traffic. The officer moved the object off the roadway.
-- A male came to the station on Nov. 20 at 10:13 a.m., to report an unknown party had gained access to his personal information. The male said he lost his driver's license, or someone stole it. The officer spoke to the AT&T store where an employee verified fraudulent purchases were made with the male's information totaling $5,736.03.
-- An officer conducting random plate checks in the area of St. Clair and Faulk Avenues on Nov. 20, conducted a traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue for a van whose plate showed the registered driver to have a suspended license. The driver, Brian Miller, 41, (address not provided) also had an active warrant out of the Columbiana County Sheriff's Office. Miller was taken into custody for the warrant and issued a citation for driving under suspension.
