- James Keys, no age or address listed, was cited for a no turn signal following a traffic stop on St. Clair Avenue at 5:54 p.m. Oct. 17. A K-9 officer indicated to a narcotic odor after Keys was acting nervously, but although Keys was found with a large amount of money, no contraband was found.
A Parkway Avenue resident reported at 5:28 p.m. Oct. 17 that a woman she knows almost struck her and her son with a vehicle as a threat.
- An officer responded to the 500 block of Hill Boulevard at 11:11 a.m. Oct. 17 where a resident reported a friend was staying in the basement but had been threatening him the past few weeks and he wanted him removed. The officer spoke with the friend who agreed to leave.
- A woman called from a West Sixth Street business at 12:29 a.m. Oct. 17 she had been in a dispute with her boyfriend and he left with her walker, knee rover and medication required after her recent surgery, leaving her stranded. She was advised how to get a protection order.
- Police responded to the 100 block of Thompson Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Oct. 16 where a woman reported her juvenile son had been assaulted by another juvenile during a dispute and wanted it documented.
- A St. Clair Avenue resident reported at 11:28 a.m. Oct. 16 that his wife recently passed away after being in the care of hospice nurses and found his wife's wedding ring, which had been on the night table next to her bed, missing.
- A St. Clair Avenue resident reported at 10:58 a.m. Oct. 16 that another resident had left her home with his belongings along with her purses, jewelry, court papers and birth certificates, as witnessed by neighbors. She was advised to get a protection order.
- A West Sixth Street resident reported at 9:38 a.m. Oct. 16 someone had stayed with her for a week and took a set of keys when told to leave.
- Police responded to the 1800 block of Anderson Boulevard at 3:10 a.m. Oct. 16 in reference to a disturbance and learned there had been an dispute in which an intoxicated resident had trashed the apartment. The other person involved had already left for the night.
- Randolph G. Gum, 60, no address listed, was charged with criminal trespass after officers responded to the East Liverpool City Hospital at 12:48 a.m. Oct. 16 where he had already been discharged twice, but was refusing to leave the property.
