LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Oct. 30 for James Wilson, 57, Main Street, Wellsville, charged with a third-degree felony of domestic violence and misdemeanor violation of a temporary protection order.
Bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
During an argument Aug. 12, he allegedly grabbed a woman by the shoulder and shoved her into the back of a couch and threatened her in Wellsville. He also was accused of violating a protection order on Nov. 29, 2019. A probation violation hearing is also planned Oct. 30 for another charge of violation of a temporary protection order for a violation on June 19, 2019.
Dustin Andric, 40, Foundry Hill Road, Hanoverton, was ordered to serve 75 days in jail, with credit for 13 days served, after violating his probation for charges of assault, criminal damaging, two counts endangering children and domestic violence from three separate 2021 cases. He was also fined $300 for domestic violence and drug paraphernalia for pushing a woman against the wall several times and threatening her on May 26 on St. Jacob-Logtown Road, Lisbon for a 2023 case. He was also fined $1,005 for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless operation and no seat belt for a 2022 case. His driver's license was suspended for one year.
Noah Hinkle, 23, Malvern, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 176 days suspended and credit for four day served for two counts of assault for striking two people during a physical altercation in Salineville on July 28.
Kwamaine Williams, 32, Steubenville, was fined $450 and sentenced to three days in jail, with credit for three days served, for obstructing official business, resisting arrest and possessing marijuana from a 2018 case.
Joshua Ochsenbine, 32, Minerva, was fined $920 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served, for OVI and reasonable control. His driver's license was suspended for one year and he was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Jan. 30 for Malik Pullie, 26, Commerce Street, Wellsville, charged with drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension for allegedly possessing a pipe and two folds with a powder substance during a traffic stop Oct. 14 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Jan. 30 for Benny Miley, 34, Cleveland, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a cut straw with powder substance during a traffic stop Oct. 14 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Jan. 18 for Carla Heru, 44, Akron, charged with drug paraphernalia.
A pretrial was set Jan. 29 for Gina Landers, 22, Canfield, charged with speeding.
Mackenzie McCartney, 22, Vienna, was fined $150 for driving under suspension and speeding.
