LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary hearing was set Oct. 12 for Bradley Eltringham, 37, Church Street, Salineville, charged with a fifth-degree felony charge of domestic violence for allegedly striking a pregnant woman several times, including strikes to her abdomen, allegedly knowing she was pregnant on June 17 in Salineville. Bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to stay away from the alleged victim.
A preliminary hearing was set Oct. 12 for Michael Spencer, 36, Haessly Road, Hanoverton, charged with two counts possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and fentanyl on Oct. 4 in East Palestine
Sarah Ann Graham, 20, East Main Street, East Palestine, was ordered to jail for 80 days, with credit for 19 days served, after violating her probation for obstructing official business and disorderly conduct from a 2022 case. She was also fined $150 for an assault charge from June 19 incident in East Palestine, and $300 for charges of obstructing official business and possession of drug abuse instrument from a June 21 incident when she ran from police and possessed a loaded hypodermic syringe. She was also fined $750 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, with credit for 10 days served, for two counts drug paraphernalia, unauthorized plate and two counts driving under suspension. Graham possessed drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on June 7 in Columbiana and on Aug 23 in St. Clair Township.
A pretrial was set Oct. 16 for Cagney Allen Springer, 34, Pennsylvania Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with menacing by stalking for allegedly threatening to do bodily harm to a woman in the parking lot of Westgate Elementary School in East Liverpool on Sept. 23.
A pretrial was set Jan. 18 for Jeremy Goodrich, 47, Port Allegheny, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $140, arriving in East Palestine on Sept. 8 for the meeting. He was also fined $150 for driving under suspension
William E. Jones, 40, North Bloomfield, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was also ordered to complete 20 hours community service and a 12-hour education course. Jones was accused of responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $100, arriving in East Palestine on June 4 for the meeting.
A pretrial was set Nov. 21 for Megan Stofen, 29, Cleveland Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with possession of drug abuse instrument and obstructing official business for allegedly possessing a hypodermic needle and baggy of white powder/crystal stuffed in the front of her pants during a traffic stop on Sept. 5 in St. Clair Township. She was the passenger and gave a social security number and date of birth for the driver, who gave a different name than his own, then his identification was found sticking out of Stofen's tank top.
Kaitlyn Gibson, 27, Dome Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct, amended from assault. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. Gibson was accused of throwing a Yeti style cup at a man during a wedding reception on Sept. 10 in Unity Township, causing a deep laceration to the back of his head.
Melverino Jones, 34, Chester, W.Va., was fined $200 and sentenced to two days in jail, with credit for two days served already, for theft for failing to scan and pay for $94 worth of items at the Calcutta Walmart on June 3, 2020.
Kimberly Squires, 58, Georgetown, Pa., was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for disorderly conduct, amended from theft. She was ordered to complete 40 hours community service and to stay out of the Calcutta Walmart. Squires failed to scan and pay for eight items totaling $64 at the Calcutta Walmart on July 18.
A pretrial was set Dec. 4 for Stefany Nussbaumer, 33, Youngstown, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly creating a disturbance at he impound lot at Steve's Towing in Leetonia on Sept. 8.
A fugitive from justice case was dismissed against Devon Sherwood, Independence Square, Wellsville, after the prosecutor was not provided with a governor's warrant for extradition to San Diego, Calif. Court documents said he was wanted on a warrant out of California for a charge of possession of child pornography.
Angela Ransom, 41, Commerce Street, Wellsville, was fined $250 and given a suspended 30-day jail term for drug paraphernalia. She was permitted to buy out 40 hours of community service for $400. On July 17 in St. Clair Township during a traffic stop, Ransom was found in possession of multiple cut straws with residue and two pill grinders with powder residue.
A pretrial was set Jan. 8 for Adam Wolfe, 47, Newton Falls, charged with drug paraphernalia for allegedly possessing a plastic tube used to snort narcotics on July 7 in East Palestine.
Abby Willis, 29, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $250 and given a 30-day jail term for drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension. She was ordered to perform 20 hours community service. Willis possessed a rolled up dollar bill with residue in her underwear during a traffic stop in Columbiana on July 12.
Alexander Exline, 41, Boardman, was fined $415 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for two days served, leaving one day to serve in jail, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and park on highway. His driver's license was suspended for one year.
A pretrial was set Dec. 14 for Nicholas Hull, 32, Kings Ridge Road, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and reasonable control.
Dae Shuler, 28, Youngstown, was fined $300 for driving under suspension, expired registration and possessing marijuana.
A court trial was set Nov. 6 for Angela Jarze, 44, Jefferson, charged with left of center. Jarze was also fined $150 for driving under suspension.
A pretrial was set Nov. 30 for Todd Hawthorne, 41, Garner Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with no valid license and use of unauthorized plate.
Jose Davila, 40, state Route 172, Lisbon, was fined $45 for left of center. An OVI charge was dismissed because the urine result was within the legal limit.
Trenton Eastham, 19, state Route 39, Wellsville, was fined $100 for possessing marijuana.
A pretrial was set Dec. 18 for Cordelia Black, 29, Warren, charged with possessing marijuana.
Jayson Rodriguez, 28, Canton, was fined $200 for speeding.
