LISBON -- A Youngstown man accused of selling and possessing methamphetamine was served Tuesday in Lancaster with a secret indictment issued by the Columbiana County Grand Jury in 2022.
Richard Donald Cole McCurdy, 21, was charged with second-degree felonies of aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs, along with misdemeanor illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly preparing for sale and possessing methamphetamine in an amount equal or greater than five times the bulk amount but less that 50 times the bulk amount and possessing drug paraphernalia on July 27, 2022.
Also served with secret indictments were:
-- Wade Lovett, 41, Glenn Street, East Liverpool, charged with possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing cocaine on Nov. 25, 2022.
-- David Haught, 37, Florence Street, East Liverpool, charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, with a specification for forfeiture of money from a drug case, for allegedly possessing $184 and methamphetamine on Feb. 24, 2021.
-- Rick Willis, 33, West Washington Street, Lisbon, was placed on probation for two years after pleading guilty to possession of fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, for possessing fentanyl-related compound on Jan. 21, 2023.
