-- An officer responded to a dispute between neighbors at 463 First Ave. on May 8 at 4:38 p.m. and advised the two to stay away from each other.
-- On May 8 at 6:53 p.m. officers responded to a report of what appeared to be a small child walking by themselves behind the Riverview Florists and found it to be a statue.
-- The Liverpool Township school resource officer was dispatched to Westgate School to take a report of a sexual assault involving juveniles on May 8 at 10:31 a.m.
-- A car pulled up to the police station and a male jumped out of the vehicle on May 8 at 8:42 p.m. When the officer went to speak with the male, he noticed a female in the car crying. The male told the officer the female is his ex-girlfriend and she has drugs in her purse. The two had been arguing. When she told the officer she just wanted to leave, the officer checked that she had a valid license, sent her on her way and told the male to leave her alone for the night.
-- On May 8 at 5:46 p.m. an officer responded to 709 Sophia St. for a report of a dog attack. A male reported that his dog was attacked by another dog while chained up and he just wanted it reported.
-- Officers on May 8 at 3:12 p.m. searched a home at the dead end of Daisy Lane for possible squatters. Officers found a suspected white narcotic on a table and a window open which they suspect someone exited through.
-- On May 8 at 5:54 p.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop on state Route 39 for a vehicle with no visible plate and dark tinted windows. The driver, identified as Byron Carner, age and address not provided, was issued a traffic citation and court date for the dark window tint and driving under suspension. First Class Towing impounded the vehicle.
-- An officer observed a female suspected of having a warrant walking on West Fifth Street and checked dispatch to verify. Once a warrant was verified for the female identified as Indya Spann the officer attempted to stop her and she began running. The officer located her and found on her a container with suspected crack cocaine and a baggie with suspected meth. Both items were bagged for evidence and sent to BCI and Spann was taken into custody and transported to the Columbiana County Jail.
-- Officers responded on May 8 at 12:47 p.m. to 1215 Erie St. for a report of people possibly inside the vacant house. Officers found the house secure and no one inside.
