LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court, Travis Monigold, 40, Wilbert Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $450 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 120 days suspended and credit for 19 days served, for weapons while intoxicated, aggravated menacing and obstructing official business.
According to court documents, police were called to Wilbert Avenue in East Liverpool on April 19 for multiple calls about Monigold pointing a gun at people and making them think he would harm them. He allegedly ignored commands of police and continued in his apartment and later admitted to having alcoholic beverages.
A pretrial was set May 15 for Ronald Beaver, 37, Vernia Street, East Liverpool, charged with domestic violence for allegedly threatening to harm a woman while holding up two steak knives in East Liverpool on May 7. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim or possess any weapons.
A pretrial was set May 18 for James Vint, West Pershing Street, Salem, charged with assault and aggravated menacing for allegedly making threats against a man on April 23 at a Steubenville Pike Road, Lisbon property after previously making a threat with a firearm on April 17 against the man's relative and her family. Vint also allegedly assaulted a woman on April 21. Bond was set at $20,000 cash or surety and Vint was ordered to have no contact with the two victims and to have no firearms.
A pretrial was set Aug. 14 for Kolton J. Smith, 25, Winona Road, Salem, charged with telecommunications harassment for continuing to contact a woman on Dec. 9, 2022 through someone else's social media account after she blocked his account and told him to stop contacting her.
A pretrial was set July 27 for Sean Green, Orchard Grove, East Liverpool, charged with assault and criminal damaging for allegedly busting out a screen door window and house window and assaulting the resident of the home on Oct. 10, 2021 in East Liverpool. Bond was continued at $15,000.
A pretrial was set July 27 for Evan Lewis, 29, Alliance, charged with theft for allegedly refusing to provide payment or return a video game system rented from Rent 2 Own in Salem on Dec. 21, 2021.
A pretrial was set July 24 for Amanda Baker, 36, Middle Beaver Road, Lisbon, charged with interference with custody for allegedly taking her child out of school on Dec. 13, 2022 in East Liverpool in violation of a court custody order.
A pretrial was set July 24 for Sheri Keenan, St. Clair Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with interference with custody for allegedly assisting her daughter in taking her granddaughter out of school in East Liverpool on Dec. 13, 2022 in violation of a court custody order. The affidavit said Keenan as a school staff member allegedly falsely signed the child out of school.
Adriana Carte, 43, South 15th Street, Sebring, was fined $150 and given a 30-day suspended jail term for disorderly conduct, amended from violating a protection order. Carte was ordered to perform 20 hours community service. Carte was accused of violating a protection order after allegedly being seen on surveillance video on the victim's property on April 1, 2022.
Elijah Maze Manley, 21, Center Street, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for disorderly conduct, amended from criminal trespass, and disorderly conduct, amended from public indecency. Manley trespassed in a condemned home in East Liverpool on April 30 and was accused of being seen defecating in a yard in East Palestine on Feb. 21.
A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set May 15 for Randy Wayne Marshall, 32, Calcutta Smith Ferry Road, East Liverpool, charged with a fourth-degree felony obstructing official business, two counts of third-degree felony failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, and misdemeanors of use of unauthorized plate, no license, left of center, speeding, stop sign, reckless operation, traffic control devices, a charge of no license second or more. The charges stemmed from a traffic incident on Aug. 12, 2022 when he allegedly fled from St. Township police attempting a traffic stop and another incident on May 6 this year when he again fled from police on a motorcycle and then fled on foot before surrendering when K-9 Rebel was used to track and locate him.
A pretrial was set May 22 for Andrew Rowell, old Route 14, Columbiana, charged with violating a temporary protection order for being in a vehicle with a protected person on May 6 in Columbiana.
A pretrial was set May 18 for Brandon Byers, 30, 18th Street, Wellsville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking another man with a closed fist in a vehicle on April 29 in East Liverpool. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
A pretrial was set July 24 for Gregory Kiger, 25, Prospect Street, East Liverpool, charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles for allegedly displaying a banner with obscene material on the front of his residence on May 3 in East Liverpool.
A pretrial was set June 27 for Kristina Avis, 38, Jefferson Street, Salineville, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking a man in the head with a metal pot on April 5. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Isaac Phillips, 24, West 10th Street, Salem, was fined $915 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served for a driver intervention program, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and left of center. His driver's license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was ordered to perform 40 hours community service.
Nichelle Williams, 32, Orchard Street, East Liverpool, was fined $300 for stop sign-school bus, speeding and driving under suspension. Another charge of driving under suspension was dismissed.
Nicholas Stepo, 25, East Third Street, Salem, was fined $1,025 and sentence to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program, for OVI and driving under suspension. His driver's license was suspended for a year and he was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service.
Zachary Daniels, 30, Somer Street, Leetonia, was fined $375 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended, for physical control, amended from OVI. His driver's license was suspended for one year, with driving privileges granted, and he was permitted to buy out 40 hours community service.
Daniel Gaines-Lewis, 29, Breckenridge, Mo., was fined $100 for speeding.
Leslie Orr, 21, McDonald, was fined $150 for speeding.
Jordan C. Miller, 42, Renkenberger Road, Columbiana, was fined $250 for speeding.
A pretrial was set July 31 for Tammy Palma, 60, Skyview Drive, East Liverpool, charged with speeding and distracted driving.
Shannon Cunning, 46, Youngstown, was fined $400 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 27 days suspended and credit for one day served, for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts driving under suspension, with a charge of possession of drug abuse instruments dismissed. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service.
A pretrial was set July 27 for Anthony Raines, Clayburn Place, East Liverpool, charged with failure to display valid sticker.
A license forfeiture was ordered for Brian Daisy, 41,Youngstown, who failed to appear for a pretrial for driving under suspension.
Scott Helton, 28, Youngstown, was fined $60 for driving under suspension and speeding.
A charge of restricted tinted glass against Joshua Davis, 23, East Perry Street, Salem, was dismissed.
