COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL
LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a preliminary/pretrial hearing was set March 23 for Lucas Keck, 28, Continental Drive, Salem, charged with two fourth-degree felony burglary counts and misdemeanors of driving under suspension, failure to stop after an accident and failure to control related to alleged incidents on March 14.
Keck was accused of entering homes on New Garden Road, Salem and Woodsdale Road, Salem after crashing his vehicle on New Garden Road near Conser Drive in the early morning hours Tuesday. An affidavit by a Perry Township police officer said he was called to New Garden Road where Keck was allegedly identified by a security camera entering the occupied home at 2:22 a.m. After being confronted by the homeowner, he took off on foot.
Security cameras at the Woodsdale Road property were set off at 6 a.m. when Keck allegedly entered and walked around, passing a sleeping resident on the couch and then going into the basement where he was located walking around by the homeowner, who did not know him.
An affidavit by a sheriff’s deputy said the male admitted to crashing his vehicle on state Route 9 and was trying to stay warm. A criminal trespass charge initially filed related to the incident was dismissed.
Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety and he was ordered to have no contact with the two residences on New Garden Road and Woodsdale Road.
A case against Donald Fiore, 56, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, was bound over to the county grand jury after he waived his right to a preliminary hearing on a fourth-degree felony domestic violence charge. Fiore allegedly threw a woman to the ground and hit her in the face on March 7 and had been charged previously with domestic violence in Mahoning County
A pretrial was set April 27 for Heather Keller, 52, Purinton Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with endangering children and disorderly conduct for allegedly screaming at and verbally abusing an 11-year-old girl at Giant Eagle and then leaving in her vehicle, leaving the girl behind at the store in Calcutta.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Brad Ruozzo, 39, Lowellville, charged with engaging in prostitution, possessing criminal tools and aggravated trafficking for allegedly responding to an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity in exchange for $120. He also allegedly said he would bring marijuana and LSD. Ruozzo allegedly traveled to East Palestine on March 14 for the meeting with his phone, money and a baggie of marijuana.
A pretrial was set May 23 for Anthony Norman, 53, Bristolville, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly requesting sexual conduct from an undercover agent in exchange for $140 and driving to Salem for the meeting March 14 with his phone.
A pretrial was set May 30 for John Lee Roy Conley, 50, Freedom, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly answering an undercover ad on a known prostitution website and arranging for sexual activity with females in exchange for $180, then traveling to East Palestine on March 7 for the meeting.
Daniel Hocker, 59, Centerville, was fined $750 and given a 30-day suspended jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to forfeit $180 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force and complete 40 hours community service. He was accused of soliciting sexual conduct in exchange for $180 from an undercover agent and driving to Salem for the meeting on Sept. 7.
William Goebeler, 61, state Route 172, Minerva, was fined $400 and given a suspended 180-day jail term for domestic violence and assault. He was also ordered to perform 40 hours community service. Goebeler was accused of grabbing and shoving a woman and pinching the cheek of another woman on Aug. 24, 2022 in Minerva.
A pretrial was set March 23 for Michael Quinn, 47, Valley Avenue, East Liverpool, charged with aggravated menacing for allegedly threatening a man and woman after an incident over water on March 9 in East Liverpool.
Bobbi Jo Wilson, Sixth Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $100 for carrying a concealed weapon and sentenced to 60 days in jail, with credit for seven days served, but with the term to be served at the same time as a 30-month sentence in a Common Pleas Court case. Wilson had originally been charged with having weapons under disability after being found inside a closet with a 12-gauge shotgun within reach when police came to an East Liverpool property regarding possible stolen property on March 8.
Cierra White, Campbell Road, Hanoverton, was fined $100 and sentenced to 12 days in jail, with credit for two days served, for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia for possessing a glass pipe in her purse during a traffic stop on March 7.
Sonja Gonzalez, 41, West Main Street, Washingtonville, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 168 days suspended and credit for 12 days served, for domestic violence and menacing. She was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. The charges stemmed from an incident Feb. 18 in Washingtonville when she threatened someone with a furniture object and attempt to harm another woman by attacking her, scratching her, tearing her shirt and pulling some chunks of hair out of her head.
A pretrial was set May 25 for Thomas Hanes IV, 29, state Route 170, East Palestine, charged with operating a vehicle under the influence first offense and failure to control. A pretrial was also set May 15 for Hanes for charges of speeding and disobeying traffic control device.
Jerrica King, 22, Sixth Street, Wellsville, was fined $915 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days served in a driver intervention program for OVI first offense and a stop sign violation. Her driver’s license was suspended for one year and she was ordered to complete 40 hours community service, which she may buy out.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Nicole Ice, 41, North Elm Street, Columbiana, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and failure to control.
A pretrial was set May 30 for Thomas Gaitan III, 48, San Antonio, Texas, charged with OVI first offense, OVI breath first offense and left of center.
No one appeared for a hearing Thursday to claim ownership or possession of multiple animals seized from a Benton Road, Salem property on March 6 due to medical neglect and unsanitary conditions. By order of Judge Katelyn Dickey, the six dogs, two birds and five cats were deemed abandoned, giving the Columbiana County Humane Society authority to adopt the animals out.
Johnathan Crow, 26, Youngstown, was fined $195 for speeding and driving under suspension.
Tatum Ali Phoenix Stowers, 30, Manor Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $250 for a stop sign-school bus violation.
Joseph Savin Jr., 37, Echo Dell Road, Wellsville, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and improper/expired registration.
Dalton Brewer, 26, Wyoming Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $260 for driving under suspension, no seat belt, and two counts of speeding.
Tiffany Woolley, 35, Vine Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for possessing marijuana paraphernalia.
A pretrial was set May 1 for Gavin Brown, 20, state Route 164, Leetonia, charged with speeding and driving under suspension.
Robert Logan, 27, Bayshore Drive, Columbiana, was ordered to pay costs after charges of driving under suspension and improper registration were dismissed.
Matthew Nero, 36, Cortland, was ordered to pay costs after a driving under suspension charge was dismissed.
Zachary Cline, 31, West Eighth Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for possessing marijuana paraphernalia.
Jay McElroy, 41, Ambrose Avenue, East LIverpool, was fined $50 for failure to display valid sticker.
A pretrial was set June 1 for Christopher Hamilton, 48, Timberline Road, Columbiana, charged with speeding.
