LISBON -- In Columbiana County Municipal Court Thursday, a preliminary hearing was set Feb. 9 for Joshua Goebeler, 34, Buffalo Road, East Rochester, charged with felonious assault of the second degree for allegedly threatening to strike the victim with his vehicle in East Rochester Sept. 5, 2022, while she was searching for a cellphone he had thrown from the vehicle.
A pretrial was set Feb. 9 for Austin S. Lowe, 26, Apple Blossom Trail, Beloit, charged with a protection order violation for allegedly contacting the victim through Facebook Jan. 17.
A pretrial was set Feb. 13 for Katrina R. Stanley, 29, Clinton, Pa., charged with expired license and two counts of drug paraphernalia.
A pretrial was set April 13 for Raymond Lester Book, 42, New Castle, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools for allegedly traveling to East Palestine Feb. 1 where he had arranged to pay $180 for sexual activity in response to an online ad posted by a Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force agent.
A pretrial was set April 17 for Jarrod Marcus Smith, 26, Canton, charged with failure to stop after an accident and failure to control.
A pretrial was set April 18 for Rachel M. Novotney, 29, Warren, charged with OVI, OVI breath .08 grams first offense and speed.
William Joseph McCulloch, 29, West Main Street, Alliance, was sentenced to 60 days in jail (suspended), fined $750, placed on two years probation and ordered to complete 40 hours community service and an anti-prostitution class for engaging in prostitution and disorderly conduct amended from possession of criminal tools.
Keith H. Thomas, 50, Robin Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 90 days in jail (87 suspended), fined $915, had his license suspended for one year, placed on two years probation and ordered to complete 40 hours community service and alcohol abuse evaluation.
Matthew R. McBride, 41, Peace Valley Road, New Waterford, was fined $300 for illegal possession of deer parts, miscellaneous wildlife and special deer or wild turkey permit.
Bruce L. Bates Jr., 33, Curry Street, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for speed.
Cristal S. Cronin, 48, Township Road 62, Hammondsville, was fined $200 for driving under suspension and a turn signal violation.
Cristal S. Adams, 48, Stagecoach Road, East Liverpool, was fined $230 for driving under suspension, speed and a seatbelt violation.
Brian Lamont Davis, 49, Doylestown, Ohio, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.
Tyler Sadler, 23, McCracken Road, Salem, was fined $150 for no driver's license amended from driving under suspension.
Dustin Tyler Wolfe, 29, Somer Street, Leetonia, was fined $100 for hit skip/leaving the scene.
