COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a case against Kirsten Burbick, 29, Curry Street, East Liverpool, was bound over to the county grand jury for breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly taking items from a residence on Aug. 7 on state Route 154, Lisbon.

A preliminary/pretrial hearing was set Dec. 5 for Arys Petties, 25, Prospect Street, Salem, charged with improper handling firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony, for allegedly possessing a gun during a traffic stop for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Other charges include OVI first offense and headlights required.

Elie Troyer, 43, Sugarcreek, was fined $750 and given a suspended 90-day jail term for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools. He was ordered to complete 20 hours community service. Troyer drove to Salem on July 7 to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct after soliciting sex acts in exchange for $80.

A status conference was set Jan. 17, with a court trial set Jan. 25, for Stefan Jarrett, 45, Springdale Avenue, Salem, charged with interference with custody, resisting arrest and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors, for allegedly failing to return a child back to the mother, blocking the victim from calling him after he was given the child for a visit and then having to be forcibly removed when the police arrived at his Salem residence on June 27. He also resisted arrested and refused to listen to officers.

A pretrial was set Jan. 9 for Abbey Blazer, 29, Canfield, charged with domestic violence for allegedly striking a female relative in the face with a metal framed refrigerator magnet on Sept. 5.

A pretrial was set Jan. 26 for Michael Zourelias, 35, Tarentum, Pa., charged with criminal trespass for allegedly leaving a trail camera on a property on Sines Road in Madison Township in December 2021, claiming he had hunting rights on the property. He told the wildlife officer he thought he was on another property.

Carissa Lane-Farmer, 27, New Cumberland, W.Va., was fined $550 and sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 76 days suspended and credit for 14 days served for resisting arrest, obstructing official business and drug abuse instruments. She was ordered to complete 20 hours of community service. Lane-Farmer was found inside an abandoned residence on Ridgeway Street, East Liverpool, with another person on Oct. 26 and after being placed in a police cruiser while officers searched the structure, she crawled through the window partition in the vehicle and fled on foot, being captured behind a Moore Street residence. A used syringe was found in her purse.

A status conference was set Jan. 24, with a court trial set Feb. 7, for James K. Adams, 50, Cream Ridge Road, Lisbon, charged with domestic violence for an alleged domestic situation on Aug. 29 when the female victim said an argument became physical.

Chase WJ Perkins, 24, Roosevelt Avenue, Salem, was fined $200 and sentenced to 30 days in jail, with 28 days suspended and credit for two days served, for disorderly conduct, amended from aggravated menacing. He was ordered to perform 20 hours community service. Perkins approached a woman at the Steel Valley Gas Mart in Hanoverton in a threatening manner, yelling at her and reaching into his waistband on Oct 16. A pretrial was set Jan. 26 for Perkins for a separate aggravated menacing charge from Oct. 16 when he and his friends arrived at a home on Campbell Road, Hanoverton after he had made threats to physically harm a male and was refusing to leave, but left before deputies arrived.

Mark Tigner, 58, U.S. Route 62, Alliance, was fined $250 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 179 days suspended and credit for one day served, for domestic violence. He was ordered to complete 30 hours community service. Tigner grabbed a juvenile by the hair, shoved her into a wall and was pushing her on May 19 in Knox Township.

A pretrial was set Dec. 19 for Daryl Kibler, 54, Malvern, charged with theft for allegedly removing multiple items from a garage on Mardis Road, Kensington on Sept. 28, including tools, electric furnace, heavy duty chains, spud bars, construction tools, ladders, overhead lights, 220 plug and breaker, chainsaw chains, tool boxes, garden tools, hoses and shelves.

A pretrial was set Jan. 24 for Beth Ann Wakefield, 57, Lang Street, East Liverpool, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for 24 items totaling $213 at Calcutta Walmart on Dresden Avenue on Oct. 27.

Timothy Seddon Jr., 48, Southeast Boulevard, Salem, was fined $1,100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, with 170 days suspended, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to control. His driver’s license was suspended for two years, with driving privileges granted. He was ordered to perform 20 hours community service.

Steven Chamberlain, 55, state Route 164, Lisbon, was fined $500 and sentenced to 45 days in jail for physical control, amended from OVI, with his driver’s license suspended for three years.

A pretrial was set Dec. 19 for Carl Moore, 43, New Cumberland, W.Va., charged with driving under suspension, improper expired registration and no seat belt.

Bradley Creatore, 32, Scroggs Road, Lisbon, was fined $150 for an equipment violation, amended from speeding.

Danielle Vantilburg, 48, Eric Drive, Lisbon, was fined $100 for possessing marijuana, with a charge of drug paraphernalia dismissed.

Christopher Kelly, 20, Alliance, was fined $215 for driving under suspension and speeding.

Thomas Hanes, 28, state Route 170, East Palestine, was fined $150 for possessing marijuana paraphernalia for having a smoking pipe and grinder on Oct. 28 in Columbiana.

Lucas McEldowney, 32, Penn Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for no operator’s license.

A pretrial was set Jan. 26 for Dylan Davin, 25, West Pidgeon Road, Salem, charged with assured clear distance.

Mikko Tiu, 32, Seville Lane, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
