- Officers responded to the 500 block of Maryland Street at 4:51 p.m. Tuesday where a resident reported the neighbor's children constantly disrespect her property. The mother of the children was advised to keep the children off the complainant's property.
- George J. Stoffel, 61, no address listed, was arrested on a bench warrant for an OVI after officers were serving a traffic citation for another matter at 3:47 p.m. Tuesday.
- Officers responded to the Vista Motel on Edwards Street at 8:43 p.m. Monday where a resident reported people outside his door yelling his name. Officers checked the area and advised the resident no to call 911 unless it was an emergency. He agreed and said he would be going to a family member's house in Wellsville.
- Abbigail Rose Swinehart, 19, no address listed, was charged with assault after officers responded to the East Liverpool hospital at 7:32 p.m. Monday where she was allegedly fighting with security staff and nurses in the parking lot. Swinehart claimed she had gone to the hospital because she had been drinking and was seeking treatment following an argument with a family member in which she punched a car, possibly breaking her hand. Hospital staff said Swinehart had been admitted in the emergency room then began arguing with her boyfriend, at which time they entered a stairwell where a nurse attempted to intervene. Swinehart reportedly began yelling at the nurse and a security guard got between them, with Swinehart striking him in the stomach. Swinehart was then taken to the ground, during which another security guard sustained a scratch to the arm and a nurse was grabbed by her hair and kicked.
- An officer responded to a 600 block Lincoln Avenue home at 5:51 p.m. Monday where a resident reported his fiancee took his vehicle without permission. The complainant said he did not want his fiancee charged for taking his vehicle, but just wanted her to leave. The officer observed that the two could not get along and suggested one of them leave for the night, which both refused. They were advised to contact the department if they needed anything further.
- An officer responded to the 1900 block of Ohio Avenue at 5:50 p.m. Monday in reference to two females and juveniles pounding on a resident's door because they believe the resident's son took their cell phone. The officer was unable to locate the missing phone or determine who might have it.
- Officers responded to the 1300 block Etruria Street at 3:07 p.m. Monday in reference to people inside a condemned home. Officers were unable to find anyone at the residence.
- A Harvey Avenue business owner reported at 7:56 a.m. Monday someone since 5 p.m. the prior Saturday had broken a lock from the business gate, drove onto the property and removed items from a storage building as well as ransacking two company trucks.

-- A deputy was dispatched at 5:49 p.m. Aug. 12 to the 500 block of Lisbon Road in Salem Township for a theft report, with a warrant issued out of Columbiana County Municipal Court for receiving stolen property on a Salem man.
-- Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Steubenville Pike Road, Center Township, at 8:23 a.m. Aug. 11 where a man told his family that a friend was possibly shot, as well as himself, but that he seemed to be intoxicated. The man admitted to drinking heavily the night before and the friend confirmed that nothing had happened and everything was fine.
-- A deputy responded to state Route 9 and Speidel Road in Hanover Township at 10:18 a.m. Aug. 7 to assist EMS with an unresponsive man. It was learned a family member was trying to get the man to the hospital for a medical issue when he stopped breathing. EMS transported the man to the hospital.
