-- A driver reported on station at 9:51 a.m. Aug. 12 he had struck a village street department employee while he was paving on High Street. The employee was on the phone and said he may have a broken wrist but wanted to drive himself to the hospital. The driver confirmed the employee had been wearing a neon traffic vest. An officer also observed signs warning of a one-lane road ahead and traffic cones set up in the area.
-- Joseph Michael Perkins, 21, Morris Road, Lisbon, was charged with physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated after officers responded to a Maple Street home at 4:19 a.m. Aug. 10 where he allegedly caused damage to a resident's vehicle by throwing gravel on it while doing doughnuts in a parking lot. He was found at a South Jefferson Street business unconscious in the driver's seat of his still running Jeep.
-- Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at Market and Jerome streets at 8:22 p.m. Aug. 9 in which a southbound vehicle driven by Patricia A. Huff, 47, Lisbon, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Jeremy D. Swimm, 38, Lisbon, who was stopped at the stop light. Huff claimed another vehicle had struck hers from behind and left the scene, but no damage could be seen on her vehicle and she was found at fault for the crash. No injuries were reported.
-- An East Lincoln Way resident reported at 8:22 p.m. Aug. 7 his neighbor's dog had gotten on his property and the neighbor attempted to fight him when he tried to get the dog back on the neighbor's property. Officers responded to the neighbor's home but found that he had gone in for the night. The complainant was advised to call police if there was any further trouble.
