-- Police responded to the 600 block of East Fifth Street at 2:20 a.m. May 21 in reference to a neighborhood dispute and found that a resident was accusing a neighbor of being a drug house. The neighbor said the dispute is racially motivated. Both individuals were told to stay away from each other.
-- Brett Lang, no age or address listed, was cited for expired plates following a traffic stop on state Route 39 at 7:30 p.m. May 20. A blue fold with an unknown white substance inside was found in his wallet.
-- Officers responded to the East Liverpool High School at 9:45 a.m. May 20 where the school resource officer reported a juvenile had been assaulted at a party the night prior. The matter was forwarded to children protective services and the juvenile court.
-- Officers responded to the 500 block of College Street at 6:26 a.m. May 20 in reference to a man sitting on a porch with possible stolen items. Officers were unable to find the person in question.
-- Michael E. Board, 67, Bill Smith Road, Wellsville, was cited for assured clear distance ahead following a two-vehicle crash in the 2000 block of Lisbon Street at 6:05 p.m. May 19 in which he was northbound and failed to stop for traffic, striking the rear of a vehicle driven by Shelby J. Wynn, 81, Lisbon Street, East Liverpool, who had slowed to make a left turn. Wynn was transported by ambulance to the East Liverpool hospital for possible injuries.
County Sheriff
--A warrant was issued for Mark A. Tigner, U.S. Route 62, charging him with domestic violence after deputies were called to that location at 11:23 p.m. Thursday.
--A Bowling Green, Ky., woman reported at 3:09 p.m. Thursday there were people trespassing on the property of her deceased father on Buffalo Road, Hanover Township. Deputies checked the property, but were unable to located anyone there and the home was secure.
-- Someone was reported walking between the vehicles in the parking lot of Roseland Commons Apartments at 2:03 a.m. Friday. Deputies checked the area, but the person had reportedly left before they arrived.
-- A box truck was found parked at a Depot Street, Rogers, location that had markings from Penn State University and Housing and Food Service on the doors. The vehicle had no license plate on it and was found to be still registered to the university. Deputies contacted Penn State University Police Department and it was determined the box truck was sold at auction and no longer belongs to the university.
-- Suspicious activity was reported at the Mt. Calvary Community Church on Waterford Road at 12:43 a.m. Saturday. A neighbor hear a loud noise and then reported she saw a light on in the church. Deputies checked the building, but it appeared secure. A light was found on at the podium in the church.
-- Deputies were called to the Frola Motel for suspicious activity at 12:04 a.m. Sunday. The woman said she believed the neighbors were going to bother her and she believed she saw people across the road. Deputies did not find anyone in the area.
