COLUMBIANA COUNTY COURT NEWS
LISBON — Nicole D. Smith, 48, Ohio Alley, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to grand theft, a fourth-degree felony. She faces up to 18 months in prison and a $10,000 fine. Sentencing is set for Nov. 7. Between Sept. 1, 2019, and July 23, 2020, Smith took cash, lottery tickets and merchandise from the Four Seasons Mini Mart.
Heather Young, 36, Alliance, pleaded guilty to aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, and requested immediate sentencing. Young was sentenced to six months in prison for the charge, which was for having methamphetamines on Dec. 23, 2019.
Justin L. Echols, 44, Township Line Road, Wellsville, stipulated to violating the terms of his community control for a failure to provide notice of change of address charge, a third-degree felony. Echols was sentenced to nine months in prison. Echols had failed to register his address on Nov. 5, 2020, something he is required to do following a conviction on Jan. 26, 2009, for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
Richard Austin Monigold, 20, North Street, Salineville, was sentenced to three years community control that will include serving up to six months at the Eastern Ohio Correction Center for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony, for fleeing from police on May 8, 2020. Monigold had his license suspended for three years.
COLUMBIANA COUNTY GRAND JURY
LISBON — Craig A. Coffman, 39, South Union Avenue, Salem, was served a secret indictment charging him with aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, along with a money forfeiture. Coffman allegedly had methamphetamines on July 16, 2021, along with $23 in drug-related money. The indictment was issued in April.
Tyquon J. Myers, also known as Fat Boy, Fats, 23, Youngstown, was served a secret indictment charging him trafficking in a fentanyl-related compound, a fifth-degree felony, along with a forfeiture specification. Myers allegedly had drugs for sale on Feb. 10, 2019, and $1,495 in drug-related proceeds. The indictment was issued in March.
James Pesano, 37, Vine Street, Salem, is charged with aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony, a misdemeanor possession of drugs charge and a forfeiture specification. Pesano allegedly had methamphetamines and buprenorphine in his possession on March 2, 2021, along with $22. The secret indictment was issued in March.
COLUMBIANA COUNTY MUNICIPAL
LISBON — In county Municipal Court, a June 23 pretrial was set for Robert J. Davis III, 36, Dome Street, East Liverpool, charged with OVI first offense, disorderly conduct and reckless operation. On March 25, Davis was allegedly yelling and intoxicated at the Frola Motel.
A July 5 pretrial was set for David Bajerski, 63, Poland, cited with OVI first offense and traffic control devices.
Matthew L. Roselle, 35, Youngstown, was fined $910 for driving under suspension, speeding, disorderly conduct amended from resisting arrest and obstructing official business for exiting the vehicle twice during a traffic stop when he was told to stay inside.
A July 18 pretrial was set for Megan Sue Brothag, 21, Canfield, cited with driving under OVI suspension.
A May 12 pretrial was set for Rhiannon S. Ikirt, 22, Mattix Road, Lisbon, cited with illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
John Russell Wagner, 35, West Wilson Street, Salem, was fined $600 and ordered 20 hours of community service for drug abuse instrument, driving under suspension and a stop sign violation.
A May 12 pretrial was set for Fred Jordan, 35, West Wilson Street, Salem, charged with obstructing official business for allegedly failing to cooperate with police while they were investigating.
A June 14 pretrial was set for Danielle J. Bowers, 31, Walnut Street, Rogers, charged with possession of drugs for allegedly having a buprenorphine tablet.
Brittany L. Landacre, 28, East Indiana Avenue, Sebring, was fined $200 for driving under suspension.
Nicholas S. Faulk, 32, 18th Street, Wellsville, was fined $450 and credited with 12 days in jail for unauthorized plates and two counts of driving under suspension.
Theresa J. Keck, 76, South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, was fined $80 for assured clear distance and expired registration.
Joshua J. Corvino, 36, East Martin Street, East Palestine, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.
Margaret G. OMalley, 35, Youngstown, was fined $75 for open container.
Howard Storey Jr., 54, North Pearl Street, Columbiana, was fined $75 for driving under suspension.
EAST LIVERPOOL MUNICIPAL
EAST LIVERPOOL — In East Liverpool Municipal Court, Michael S. Heverly, 37, Depot Road, Salem, was fined $80 for driving under suspension and improper registration.
Kathy A. Pinkerton, 57, Y and O Road, was fined $50 for driving under FRA suspension.
A June 7 pretrial was set for Tonie G. Christy, 33, Irondale, driving under a 12-point suspension and rules for turns.
The following failed to appear: Jeffrey D. Meridith, 28, Riverside Avenue, Wellsville, cited with expired plate and no license; Rilee M. Ward, 20, Fairway Road, for theft allegedly shoplifting from the Calcutta Walmart; John D. Spence, 34, Toronto, driving under FRA suspension; Joseph E. Giralico, 38, Quay Road, Negley, possession of drug instruments; Eric D. McQueen Jr., 30, Youngstown, driving under suspension, window tint and two counts of drug paraphernalia; Steven S.
