-- Deputies were called to a Lisa Lane property at 1:26 a.m. April 16, which was posted as no trespassing. Three people were found inside the home. One was found to have a warrant, Robert Burge, who was taken into custody and transported to the county jail. The three people claimed they have permission from the property owner to be there and were told to get the property owner to get a note giving them permission.
-- Loud music and yelling was reported coming from a party in the yard of a Mick Road, Yellow Creek Township home at 11:37 p.m. Friday. Deputies arrived in the area shortly after midnight and could hear the yelling and music from three roads away on Hillcrest Road. Rickey O'Hanlon, 36, who has been warned on numerous occasions about having loud parties and disturbing the neighbors, was cited with disorderly conduct. He also was warned that if he continues to have parties which prompt deputies to return he could be cited or arrested.
-- A Lake Front Drive, Knox Township, woman reported at 9:38 p.m. Thursday, her son was served with eviction papers to move out that morning and that night he was back on the property sitting in his vehicle. Deputies checked the area and could not find him. They also checked the doors and windows and the house was secure. A neighbor said they saw a man walking on the property and then walking northbound on Case Road. Deputies checked the area, but did not find him. The woman was at work and deputies told her she could have his vehicle towed off her property.
-- A Scott Drive, Knox Township, mother reported at 11:50 a.m. Friday she let her daughter and her boyfriend rent from her and her boyfriend, but when they moved out they damaged and took multiple items inside the home. Deputies told her it was a civil matter and they should take them to court.
-- A Sue Drive, Center Township, reported at 4:29 p.m. Thursday her ex-boyfriend was moving out and she wanted to know when she can change the locks on the home. Deputies told her to change them when he tells her he has moved out and will not be back.
-- A state Route 558, Salem Township woman was served a protection order at 6:50 p.m. Friday which was issued out of Columbiana County Common Pleas Court.
-- A suspicious vehicle was reported on Brookfield Street near the Educational Opportunity Center at 11:47 p.m. Friday. Deputies checked the area, but did not find the vehicle.
-- A man reported at 6:32 a.m. Friday sometime overnight someone entered his vehicle on Pritchard Avenue, Center Township, and stole the keys to the vehicle and a toolbox full of tools. The man did not see anyone, but did hear something at about 4:15 a.m.
-- Gunshots were reported fired in the area of Hazel Run Road and Clarks Mill Road at 1:01 a.m. Saturday. Deputies checked the area and found an unattended fire. The items in the fire were scattered and the rain extinguished the fire. The area was checked, but no one was located.
Lisbon
-- A police chase Saturday at 8:24 p.m. resulted in charges against John S. Faloba, 29, of Eagleton Road. Faloba was driving a 2016 Can AM Commander 1000 utility task vehicle (UTV) along with another person driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV). They came off Grant Street and turned west onto Maple Street, the report said. Officers turned their lights on due to the vehicles having no plates or lights but the officers noted they did not stop and seemed to accelerate. At South Lincoln Avenue, the UTV went south and the ATV went straight on Maple Street. Two officers took chase but the ATV accelerated out of view either going down the bike trail or Lions Den Road, the report noted. The UTV continued to elude officers, striking and damaging a Ford truck on Washington Street, officers confirmed. The UTV got ahead a bit and ended up on the bike trail, going about 40, officers estimated. The trail crosses Logtown Road near Saltwell Road and officers soon apprehended the suspect on the trail when he appeared to be stuck and he put his hands up for officers. The UTV sustained a lot of damage and the front passenger wheel was laying flat on the ground. The UTV was backed up out of the area as it could not travel forward and it was placed at a residence close to the trail as the owner knew the subject. Faloba was taken to the police station and charged. The identity of the driver of the ATV that got away remains under investigation, said police chief Mike Abraham.
-- Police were called to the parking lot behind 125 North Market after a driver pulled their entire front bumper off on a small tree stump that was sticking up at about 2:30 p.m. Monday. Police took the report.
-- A false alarm brought officers to the Days Inn Thursday at 7:01 p.m. The fire alarm went off but police determined that there was not a fire at Days Inn and determined it to be an alarm issue.
-- Officers ran a plate on Saturday at 8:41 a.m. and realized the driver was wanted on an active warrant out of Columbus for adult probation and parole. The driver, Gloria Flaherty, said she was previously arrested for transporting heroin and then failed a drug test. The officers searched the vehicle and found nothing in it. A holder was filled out and she read the Rule 4 form and agreed to sign it. She was then transported to the county jail.
-- A neighborhood dispute over a cell phone April 18 ended with officers separating the parties for the night. At 11:10 p.m. officers were called to North Market Street over an argument over a cell phone that was missing. The one resident said they believed the neighbor stole the phone but the phone's owner said they pinged it and found it behind that house. The neighbor denied taking the phone. There were no further incidents reported.
-- Police were called to the gazebo in the square to help a woman into her car Friday at 10:26 a.m. The bailiff was there and said the woman's significant other had just been sentenced in the court and she was not taking it well. Officers assisted her.
-- Police were called to a South Market Street business for a complaint from a Columbia Gas employee at 9:22 a.m. The worker said they were trying to repair a line from the road to the business and when he tried to explain this to the owner, the owner shoved him and then went inside. The owner admitted he did it, but the employee stated he did not want anything done about the incident. The owner was advised the gas company is allowed to work on the street and sidewalk and if anything else happened, he would be charged.
-- A North Park Avenue resident called police and said he could hear somebody talking about him on the other side of the wall Friday at 12:44 a.m. Police checked the area but did not find anyone.
-- Police were advised Saturday by the sheriff's office to be on the lookout for a black Hynduai with four juveniles on Steubenville Pike Road at 8:11 p.m. The car was not located.
-- Officers were called to direct traffic at North Market Street and North Beaver Street while a disabled vehicle was towed away Friday at 7:42 p.m.
-- A man screaming on his porch was reported to officers Friday at 6:53 p.m. on West Washington Street, but when officers checked, they found no one matching the description.
-- Richard Vecchio was cited for public intoxication after police were called about a disorderly male at Circle K on April 14 at 9:28 p.m. Upon arrival police identified Vecchio who the report noted was extremely intoxicated. He was cited and taken home.
-- Police were called to South Green Street and West Washington Street for a fender bender on April 14 at 4:41 p.m. No injuries or charges were reported. One driver was at the stop sign when they put the car in reverse and struck the car behind them.
-- Officers were called for a report of loud music on North Park Avenue on April 13 at 9:25 p.m. They did find the person with the loud music who complied when police asked him to turn it down.
-- An indoor motion burglar alarm brought officers to a West Lincoln Way home at 1:12 a.m. on April 8, but upon checking, police found all doors and windows were secure and there was no sign of forced entry.
-- A man was reported to be slumped over in his vehicle at a pull-off off of state Route 154 on April 19 at 1:22 p.m. Police checked the man who said he was napping so he could drive back home and was fine.
-- A call was received by 911 that was left as an open line from an apartment on East Washington Street on April 19 at 2:08 p.m. No one answered the door and the neighbor said they hadn't seen the resident in a few weeks.
