-- A woman called to file a harassment report at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, claiming that the father of her daughter threatened to kill her because she wouldn't let him speak to her daughter who was busy getting ready for school. He reportedly called another 75 times and each time she answered the phone he threatened her.
-- James. W.K. Adams, 21, Lisbon, was cited for display of license plate after a traffic stop on Chestnut Street after an officer noticed that the vehicle was not bearing registration at 10:42 p.m.
--Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of East Washington Street on the report of an ATV driving through caller's yard at 12:54 a.m. The officer spoke with the father of the boy who was driving the ATV who said he would have his son park it for the night and that they would try to be more respectful to their neighbors.
-- Officers were dispatched to Valley View gas station for a male standing in the roadway with a sign at 11:25 a.m. Friday. Officers advised him not to stand in the roadway or have any part of the sign in the roadway.
-- Officers were dispatched to the Save A Lot parking lot on the report of a suspicious white van at 12:38 a.m. March 25. The woman in the van said she was traveling from Texas and wanted to get some sleep. The officers advised her to go to a nearby motel for the night and she agreed.
-- An officer was dispatched to a residence on West Chestnut Street for a welfare check on a possibly suicidal man at 3:09 a.m. Friday. The caller advised that the man texted her a picture of him threatening to harm himself. The man was transported to a local hospital without incident.
-- An officer was dispatched to Dunkin' at 6:18 a.m. March 21 to assist a deputy with a suicidal man. The man was unable to be located upon arrival.
Columbiana County Sheriff
-- A U.S. Route 62, Knox Township, woman reported at 9:21 a.m. March 24 someone she knew was trespassing on her property. A warrant was issued for Damon C. Andrews charging him with trespassing.
-- A Mick Road, Yellow Creek Township, man reported at 8:41 a.m. Tuesday his employer had notified him they received an application for unemployment benefits in his name. He was told to also file a fraud alert on the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services website.
-- Law enforcement in Summit County requested deputies go to a Walker Road address at 8:11 a.m. Tuesday and notify someone of a problem.
-- An East Liverpool Road resident reported at 6:58 p.m. Monday someone had left a Troy Built lawn mower on their property. While deputies were there, the owner arrived and said he knew the resident and had left the mower there after it broke down.
-- A vehicle was reported blocking Rochester Road in West Township at 2:38 p.m. Saturday. Deputies found a flatbed Ford F-250 in the roadway with another vehicle parked behind it. After determining the owner of both vehicles, deputies attempted to contact him, but were unable to reach him. Due to the vehicles being parked in the roadway, people had driven around, tearing up the neighbor's grass. When deputies were waiting for a tow truck, the owner arrived and claimed his truck had been parked there for four months due to the transmission going out of it. He said he had someone coming to tow it sometime that week. Deputies gave him until their tow truck arrived to get his person there if he wanted his person to tow it and the owner made a phone call bringing someone immediately.
-- Black smoke was seen in the area of Fairmont Road in Elkrun Township at 2:23 p.m. Saturday. A man was there keeping an eye on it and said he was cleaning up the property the farmer he worked for recently purchased. Deputies explained there is currently a fire ban in place prohibiting burning until after 6 p.m. The fire department was called to put it out.
-- An employee at New Day, Union Ridge Road, Negley, resident reported at 7:06 p.m. Tuesday someone damaged the front door to the facility when he was attempting to leave it. The hinge at the top of the door and the magnetic locking system were both damaged. He did not want to file charges.
-- A Crestview Road, Fairfield Township, man reported at 3:34 p.m. Tuesday someone tried to use his personal information to obtain unemployment from his employer in Macedonia. His employer refused payment to unemployment. Deputies urged him to contact unemployment and alert them of the fraud also.
-- A Hadley Road, Unity Township, resident reported at 4:08 p.m. Monday someone drove a delivery truck through the yard. The homeowner called Heeter Transport and reported the matter. The owner of the transport company had said he would be back on Friday to repair the damage to the yard. The delivery truck had also driven over a headlight assembly and hood that had been lying near the garage.
-- A deputy went to a state Route 170, Middleton Township, home at 12:34 a.m. Wednesday after someone reported loud noises and yelling. Deputies found everyone asleep when they arrived.
-- Deputies responded to a King Road, Butler Township, home at 12:52 a.m. Wednesday after someone reported loud music. Deputies found no music playing when they arrived and the homeowner said he and a friend had been sitting in the car earlier listening to music and one of the neighbors yelled they were going to call deputies, so they had turned it down.
-- A Smith Road, Middleton Township, resident reported at 11:55 p.m. Wednesday he and his wife had left home at about 6:38 p.m. and returned home to find his work truck missing from the driveway. He had also received a text from his boss that he was speeding on state Route 680 at about 7:31 p.m. Youngstown police recovered the vehicle.
-- An alarm was reported in the garage of a Westville Lake Road, Knox Township, home at 12:20 a.m. Wednesday. No one appeared to have entered the garage, two unattached buildings or the home. All appeared to be secure.
Highway Patrol
-- Julie A. Waggoner, 33, East Palestine, was cited with failure to control, OVI and child endangering and her passenger, Andrew P. Taylor, 38, Wellsville, was cited with OVI and child endangering at 10:48 p.m. Friday. The two were allegedly arguing while Waggoner was driving on state Route 154 in Middleton Township when Taylor grabbed the wheel. Waggoner then drove off the road, striking a tree and an embankment before overturning. The two had conflicting statements of whether or not Taylor grabbing the wheel caused Waggoner to lose control of the vehicle. Waggoner, Taylor and Waggoner's 13-year-old son, who was in the back seat during the crash, all sustained minor injuries. All of them were transported to local hospitals.
-- Jevan Martin, 13, Lisbon, was cited with right of way rule when turning left and juvenile traffic offender after the skid-steer he was operating was struck by the vehicle of Kirk A. Sandoe, 42, Lisbon at 3:52 p.m. Friday. Sandoe was attempting to pass Martin, who then made a left turn into a private drive from Lisbon Road in Center Township, causing Sandoe to crash into him. The skid-steer went off the road and overturned, rolling down the side of the road before striking a pole. Martin was not injured.
-- Sharlene Thomas, 43, Kensington, was cited with failure to control and failure to wear seatbelt after she drove off the road while traveling on Emerick Road in Franklin Township and struck an embankment and overturned at 6:26 p.m. Monday. She sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
-- Megan E. Ault, 26, Alliance, was cited with assured clear distance after she rear-ended the vehicle of William R. Colwell, 50, Salem, on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 2 p.m. Tuesday.
-- Dylan C. Thompson, 18, Lisbon, was cited with failure to control after he drove off the road while traveling on Trinity Church Road in Hanover Township at 10:24 p.m. March 25, causing the vehicle to overturn onto its side in a creek. Thompson was not injured.
