East Liverpool

-- City police answered two catalytic converter complaints in the past few days. At 10:38 a.m. March 2, a female subject reported that she observed a tall, skinny white male with a large tattoo on his left hand parked near her Jeep several hours before. He was going through a tool box in the bed of a dark colored S-10 and now her catalytic converter is missing. Another woman in the 1800 block of Harvey Avenue reported at 4:33 p.m. Saturday that someone over the past three days stole her catalytic converter off her Chevrolet sedan while it was parked in a private lot.

-- A Denver Street resident reported at 3:49 p.m. March 2 that she couldn't exit her driveway due to traffic from the Dairy Queen drive-thru blocking her in.

-- Police received multiple calls around 8:09 p.m. March 2 regarding a bleeding male walking in the 700 block of Dresden Avenue. He was transported to the East Liverpool City Hospital emergency room.

-- A male subject advised at 4:32 p.m. March 2 that a youth on a mini-bike hit his vehicle near Perorazio's before fleeing the scene with no visible injuries.

-- A Virginia Street woman reported at 4:32 a.m. Tuesday that she had four unauthorized Comcast purchases on her PNC bank card totaling more than $500.

-- Officers assisted Lifeteam ambulance with a combative elderly male who had fallen and struck his head shortly after 9:37 a.m. March 2 in the 600 block of Bradshaw Avenue.

-- Employees at a Third Street car wash reported at 8:44 a.m. March 1 that a subject in dark clothing was digging through garbage cans and their coin machines. The subject was banned from the property.

-- A man sleeping on the fence at Thompson House on the afternoon of March 1 was given a courtesy transport to Fawcett Apartments.

-- John Lyle was taken into custody at 11:21 p.m. March 1, after his mother's residence was surrounded in the 800 block of Louise Street by St. Clair Township police and Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in conjunction with an allegedly stabbing in Jefferson County.

-- Officers responded at 11:18 p.m. March 1 to the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to do a welfare check.

-- A verbal disturbance between two intoxicated subjects was reported shortly after midnight Sunday in the 1000 block of St. George Street.

-- Residents reported a suspicious vehicle at 10:58 p.m. Sunday in the 2000 block of Ohio Avenue.

-- An unruly female juvenile upset about having to clean her room was transported by ambulance at 6:38 p.m. Saturday to East Liverpool City Hospital for a mental evaluation at the request of her father.

-- Officers responded at 12:32 a.m. Saturday to the 300 block of Grant Street for a dispute between two brothers.

-- David Gamble, of Dewey Avenue, was cited at 6:55 p.m. Saturday with leaving the scene of a crash charge, after he struck Gina's Drive-Thru with his camo F150.

-- Vehicle owners reported at 12:34 a.m. Friday in the 200 block of West Fifth Street that they were the victims of someone egging and pouring ketchup on the cars. A window also was broken out.

-- A Price Street woman reported at 1:55 a.m. Friday that someone was on her roof. Police found no one around the residence.

-- Police investigated a possible disturbance at 11:48 p.m. Thursday in the first block of Minerva Street.

-- A "half drunk" subject was transported home to sober adults on Minerva Street, after he fell after noon Thursday near Andy's Tire.

-- A resident of the 200 block of Center Street had reported that he had some packages delivered by UPS and they were taken sometime before 7:34 a.m. Wednesday.

-- A Lisbon Street woman reported at 3:05 p.m. Wednesday that a known subject was at her residence taking property in violation of a protection order.

-- Derica Barnett was served with a warrant at 7:31 p.m. Wednesday after a routine traffic stop in the first block of West Sixth Street. The vehicle's driver, Matthew Masters also was cited for no plate light.

-- A caller reported at 6:03 p.m. March 2 in the 600 block of Walnut Street that someone stole his white Dodge Caravan. However, they later received a call from Liverpool Township telling them to disregard as the man had actually drove his car there and not the van.

-- City police responded to two calls involving Caleb Hoggard in the morning hours of March 2. Initially city sanitation department workers witnessed him strike a speed limit sign on Bank Street before fleeing the scene at 9:57 a.m. and was cited with no operator's license when officers caught up with him. Several hours later, he was arrested at 11:09 a.m. on a domestic violence charge, after allegedly assaulting his live-in girlfriend on McKinnon Avenue.

-- Officers investigated several parking complaints in the 600 block of Louise Avenue at 1:20 p.m. March 1 that obstructed mailboxes and preventing mail delivery.

Highway Patrol

-- Skylar R. Coppersmith, 20, Salem, was cited for assured clear distance after she rear-ended the vehicle of Sydney A. Mesmer, 20, Leetonia, on the exit ramp from state Route 11 to state Route 344 in Fairfield Township at 4:34 p.m. Wednesday.

-- Michael G. Kuhlen, 37, Salem, was cited with failure to control, OVI and failure to wear a seatbelt after he drove off the road on Old 344 in Salem Township and struck an embankment, culvert and a tree before overturning at 11 p.m. Feb. 27. Kuhlen sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

-- Ethan T. Surgenavic, 44, Columbiana, was cited with failure to control after he went off the road on Middleton Road in Fairfield Township and into a private yard, striking two trees and a swing set at 5:30 a.m. March 2.

-- Richard Quansah, 31, Moore, Okla., was cited for marked lanes after the semi truck he was driving went off the road and struck a utility pole on state Route 518 at 4:48 a.m. Wednesday.

-- Michael Watson, 53, W.Va., reported that his vehicle was struck by gravel thrown from the overpass on Rollercoaster Road onto state Route 11 in Madison Township at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.

-- Ava M. Nero, 16, Salem, was cited with failure to control after she drove off the road and struck two trees on Egypt Road in Salem Township at 11:13 p.m. Thursday.

-- Olivia N. Clark, 17, Leetonia, was cited with assured clear distance after she rear-ended the vehicle of Carmen A. Clow, 59, New Middletown, when Clow slowed in traffic in state Route 14 in Fairfield Township at 4:02 p.m. Friday.

County Sheriff

-- A domestic violence incident was reported at a Knox School Road, Knox Township, home at 1:36 a.m. Sunday, where Drake Shamus McAllister, 21, was charged with domestic violence and transported to the county jail.
