Liverpool Township
-- An officer responded at 2:29 p.m. Sunday to the 2500 block of Lisbon Street to a suspicious person complaint. He had negative contact.
-- A 14-year-old Lisbon Street boy was arrested at 10:12 p.m. Monday on a charge of domestic violence, after allegedly assaulting his mother and a 10-year-old sibling.
-- A victim in the 1500 block of Shadyside Avenue reported at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday that someone had stole his catalytic converter of his vehicle around three weeks ago.
Wellsville
-- An investigation continues into a theft reported shortly before 7:52 p.m. Thursday at Rite Aid.
-- Police responded to a crash at 6:22 pm. Monday near the state Route 7 south exit ramp involving Ronald Siegman, whose vehicle sustained damage when he hit the gas instead of the brake and exited a highway and hit a ditch.
-- Tiffany Sattler was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Chester Avenue, where she allegedly had to be administered three doses of Narcan due to an alleged overdose while she was caring for four children.
Highway Patrol
-- Drew Sweeney, 27, New Waterford, was cited with failure to control and OVI at 12:34 a.m. Sunday after he went off the left side of state Route 517 and struck a concrete guardrail base and a tree.
-- Dan E. Libb, 24, Columbiana, was cited with assured clear distance after he rear-ended the vehicle of Jason T. Maley, 46, Alliance, on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 9:50 a.m. Sunday.
-- Melissa Chamberlain, 51, Sebring, was traveling on U.S. 62 in Knox Township at 9:27 p.m. Friday when she struck a cow that entered the roadway. The cow rolled on top of her vehicle and then went back into the roadway and was then struck by the vehicle of Shimera McNeal, 39, Alliance, causing McNeal's vehicle to overturn. Both Chamberlain and McNeal sustained minor injuries.
County Sheriff
-- Deputies and a highway patrol responded to state Route 7 near the Dollar General in Rogers for a person reportedly jumping in front of cars at 8:10 p.m. March 9. Although no one was found on state Route 7, a deputy found a man at the Dollar General who said he was kicked out of his house and was attempting to ride a bike to East Liverpool to rent a motel room. He had money for a taxi, but no phone to call one, so deputies had a dispatcher call a cab for him and watched him get into it.
-- A Highland Avenue, Rogers, resident reported at 9:09 p.m. March 9, someone walked into her house uninvited and sat on a chair in her living room. She asked him to leave and he did, stating he was only waiting for a ride. She has known the man since he was a child and he had been in her house in the past, but it was odd for him to just walk in and sit down. She did not want to pursue charges.
-- A state Route 518, Madison Township, woman reported at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday she came home and found a vehicle in the driveway that did not belong there. When she confronted the driver, they said they were looking for someone. She told them the person they were looking for does not live there and the vehicle left. The homeowner learned the highway patrol had stopped a vehicle there, which had attempted to elude him and pulled into the driveway. The trooper was called to come back and said the driver did not have a valid license and was told to walk around to look for the person because they were not valid to drive.
-- A Crews Road, Madison Township, woman reported at 9:27 p.m. March 10 another woman continues to call her and question where he children are at. The woman said her son took the children with him and she does not know where he is, but she said the children are safe with him. Deputies called the woman and told her to contact the son if she needs to talk to him about the children, but leave his parents alone.
-- A state Route 154, Elkrun Township, man reported at 11:40 a.m. Saturday someone used his information to file an unemployment claim.
-- A Heck Road, Unity Township, man reported at 10:15 a.m. Sunday someone shot his barn and house. Deputies found four bullet holes in the barn door facing east, one in the side of the house facing east and a larger hole on the south side of the barn. The man said he had not issues with people shooting, only with them striking his barn and home. He did not believe anyone meant to hit his property. Deputies told him to call if someone is shooting in the nearby area again.
-- A state Route 9 man reported at 2:04 p.m. Sunday someone keyed the paint of his 2013 Ford F-150. Two pieces of asphalt were located near the front of the vehicle and one had paint on it that matched the vehicle.
-- While checking around the United Schools at 12:59 a.m. Monday, deputies found the ticket booth window was open. Items were being stored in there. The door to the booth was secure so deputies pushed the ticket window closed.
-- While checking the area around Appalachian Trailer, state Route 9, at 12:33 a.m. Monday a deputy found the bottom of the main gate was pulled out as if something had been hooked to it with a chain and pulled by a vehicle. A keypad inside was heavily damaged. A chain mechanism had been detached from the gate and was laying in the vicinity. Deputies called a contact with the business and learned a customer had done this on Saturday.
-- A domestic dispute was reported at 7:48 a.m. Thursday between people at a Homeworth Road, Knox Township, home. There was no physical violence reported.
-- Someone reported at 9:17 a.m. Thursday someone had disconnected the batteries and pipes, which disabled a well on Bowman Road. Deputies went to speak with a Center Road man, who the owner of the well said they had had problems with in the past, but the man was not at home.
-- A Clarks Mill Road, Washington Township, woman reported at 12:44 p.m. Thursday there have been problems with someone dumping along the road recently and a person was caught getting ready to dump a load of brush over the hill. When the man was confronted by the residents, he said it was "only brush." He then moved on.
--A man at Westville Lakes reported at 9:58 a.m. Friday there was a camper at the second lake, which has been abandoned for more than two years. The plates on the camper were green and white and no longer in the database due to their age. The camper is in bad condition and will have to be dismantled to remove it. Deputies could not give the man permission to remove it due to it being on private property.
-- A deputy was asked to check on a Bowman Road man, who did not show up for his dialysis treatment at 7:15 a.m. Monday. His daughter arrived before deputies and told them he was fine.
-- A Darlington Road, Middleton Township, man reported at 11:01 a.m. March 10, someone entered a vacant house and garage on the property, where he had a large amount of his personal belongings. He was looking to determine if anything was missing.
-- A Woodville Road, Fairfield Township, woman reported at 8:40 a.m. Monday, she received a credit card in the mail she had not applied to get.
-- Shawn A. Osborn, 40, was charged with violating a protection order after calling a protected woman from the county jail on March 8.
-- A Fairfield School Road, Fairfield Township, woman reported Monday she received a notice in the mail she had signed up for unemployment when she had not done so.
-- A Hadley Road, Unity Township, woman reported at 10:17 a.m. Monday she found a scam on the internet.
