Highway Patrol
-- Dylan Morrow, 23, Minerva, was cited for failure to control after he went off the road and struck an embankment and utility pole on Lisbon Road in Salem Township at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday.
-- Kenneth J. Hall, 27, Lisbon, went off the road and struck an embankment and overturned on Hunter Camp Road in Center Township at 11:36 p.m. Feb. 13. Hall was not cited due to severe untreated road conditions and lack of property damage.
-- Ray E. Hall, 54, East Palestine, was attempting to travel up McKaig Road in Franklin Township at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday when he lost traction and slid back down, striking a vehicle that was stuck in a ditch owned by Craig A. Beary, 41, Youngstown. Beary sustained a possibly injury. No citations were issued.
-- Olivia M. Gillman, 21, Alliance, was cited with improper backing at 3:29 p.m. Monday. Gillman was waiting to turn onto Johnson Road from U.S. 62 in Knox Township when she began to back up to clear the intersection, and struck the vehicle of Lisa R. Kelly, 41, North Benton.
County Sheriff
-- Deputies spoke to Mitchell Baker at 1:04 a.m. Saturday after someone asked for him to be removed from a state Route 45, Madison Township, property. Baker said he was attempting to speak with his girlfriend at the home, but she would not speak to him. Those at the home said Baker was not welcome. His license was found to be suspended, and his plates and his registration were both expired. The plates were collected from the vehicle and it was towed. The residents declined to prosecute Baker for being there.
-- An accident was reported at the McDonald's parking lot in Center township at 10:02 a.m. Wednesday. A driver going through the drive through slid on the ice and struck a sign in between the lanes. No one was injured and there were minor damages to the vehicle and sign.
-- A Tower Road, Butler Township, woman reported she was being threatened over the phone by an ex-boyfriend. She did not wish to pursue charges at this time and was told how to obtain a protection order.
-- A Brown Street, Center Township, woman reported at 4:28 p.m. Tuesday she paid a man $1,500 to do construction around her home. He took the payment and then blocked her from communicating with her. Deputies suggested she seek assistance through an attorney.
