St. Clair Township
— A Belmont Avenue man reported at 2:01 p.m. Dec. 24 that he had located his stolen boat and asked for assistance.
— Officers were dispatched at 9:07 a.m. Dec. 23 to Sally Beauty Supply to investigate vandalism.
— Zeth Davis and David Christy were arrested at 1:02 p.m. Dec. 23 at Cannon Mills Road and state Route 267 on charge of possession of marijuana, during a routine traffic stop.
— Police responded at 4:25 p.m. Dec. 23 to the Echo Dell Mobile Home trailer park, where an elderly man had been discovered deceased.
— A Wyoming Avenue man had reported at 11:02 p.m. Dec. 22 receiving threats via mobile device.
— Two tenants were reported fighting at 9:31 a.m. Dec. 21 in the Carriage Hill Apartments.
— Vandals damaged property sometime before 9:57 a.m. Dec. 21 in the 50000 block of Stagecoach Road.
— Police failed to name a woman who was cited for no operator’s license through the state of Pennsylvania at 1:21 p.m. Dec. 21 that was matched one involved in a vehicle theft he had been working on. The theft case is still under investigation.
— A Stagecoach Road property owner reported at 2:23 p.m. Dec. 21 that a large box truck ripped down the cable wire going to his home and drove off.
— Officers were dispatched at 6:53 a.m. Dec. 20 to the area of state Route 267 and Yeager Drive for a vehicle sitting in the roadway unaccompanied, across both lanes. It was towed.
— Police responded to a domestic dispute between sisters at 7:21 p.m. Dec. 19 in the Echo Dell Mobile Home Park.
— A domestic incident was reported at 7:53 p.m. Dec. 19 between Kayla Roberts and Sherman Pritt, who had left before police arrival.
— Glenn Galloway was arrested at 8:52 p.m. Dec. 19 after a traffic stop in the area of state Route 267 and Y&O Road on charges of possessing drug abuse instruments, carrying concealed weapons (other than a firearm), improper display of plates and driving under FTR suspension. After K-9 Noras indicated the presence of narcotics during an open air sniff, two syringes, a set of brass knuckles, five and a half white pills and a white rock substance was recovered.
— Matthew Young was cited at 7:56 a.m. Dec. 18 in the first block of state Route 11 for fictitious plates after a random LEADS check.
Highway Patrol
— Timothy C. Nagy, 56, of Beloit, was cited for failure to control after he went off the left side of the road, striking two mail boxes, flower pot and gas meter on the property on Viola Blanchard while driving on Georgetown Road in Knox Township at 9:47 p.m. Dec. 17.
— An abandoned motor vehicle was found overturned off state Route 39 in Yellow Creek Township at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle was registered to a Newell, W.Va., resident, so the trooper called the sheriff’s office there and learned by Jeffrey D. Powers, 37, of Newell, who is believed to be the driver, had just reported it stolen. West Virginia authorities charged him, and the patrol is also expected to file charges.
— Randall L. Bogart, 45, of Wellsville, was cited for failure to yield the right of way after he struck a passing vehicle while pulling onto state Route 45 in Madison Township at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday. The other vehicle was driven by Peggy A. Kelly, 66, of Lisbon,.
— Terry M. Bunker, 63, of Rogers, was cited for driving left of center after Bunker’s pickup truck crossed the center line on state Route 558 in Fairfield Township and struck head-on an SUV operated by Bridgett M. Riley, 25, of Salem, at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Riley was taken to an area hospital with multiple suspected serious injuries.
— Two county engineer department snow plow trucks wrecked when the brakes on one did not work at the intersection of state Routes 558 and 46 in Unity Township at 9 a.m. Thursday. Trevor T. Sandor, 25, of Lisbon, was driving in front of Parker J. Summers, 21 of East Liverpool, when Sandor slowed for the intersection. Summers applied his brakes but he said they did not work, with his truck crashing into the rear of Sandor’s truck, causing it to overturn. Neither driver was injured.
County Sheriff
— Connie R. Dattilio, 55, Y & O Road, Madison Township, was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after deputies were called to a domestic dispute at her home at 2 a.m. Friday.
— A burglar alarm went off at a Mick Road home in Yellow Creek Township at 2:40 a.m. Monday, but the home did not appear to have been disturbed and there were no footprints in the snow.
— A woman from Water Street, Salineville, called at 7:38 a.m. Saturday because her ex-boyfriend was at her home under the influence of drugs and acting crazy. The man did not appear to be high on drugs and said he just had a bad hangover and needed some sleep.
— Deputies were called to Salem Grange Road, Salem Township, at 9:23 p.m. Dec. 22 in regard to suspicious activity, but nothing was found.
— Deputies were called to Churchill Road, Center Township, about a suspicious person at 4 p.m. Thursday, but one was found in the area.
