County Sheriff

-- Deputies went to a home on Walnut Street, Washingtonville, at 11:03 p.m. Saturday, after receiving a complaint about noise, but were unable to hear anything. Deputies did notify the homeowner about the complaint.

-- Someone reported a break-in at Inca Aztec Self Storage, U.S. Route 62, in Knox Township at 2:55 a.m. Saturday.

-- A Latta Road, Unity Township, resident reported at 7:46 p.m. Sunday they were concerned a person in the area at that time was someone who had threatened them previously. Deputies explained how to obtain a protection order.

-- K-9 Hunter and his handler, Deputy Damin Beadnell, checked a vehicle on Dickey Drive at 11:48 p.m. Thursday at the request of Lisbon police but no narcotic indication was noted.

Highway Patrol

-- Jenna M.E. Dickson, 25, of Stow, was cited for OVI and failure to control after she went off the left side of the road and into a ditch while driving on state Route 45 in Salem Township at 1:41 a.m. Sunday.

-- Josie M. Glosser, 17, of Leetonia, was cited for failure to control after she went off the left side of the road and struck a tree while driving on Lisbon Road in Salem Township at 10 p.m. Saturday. Glosser was uninjured.

-- William Michaels, 70, of Salem, was cited for driving left of center after he struck a vehicle coming the other direction operated by Charles J. Nolker, 56, of Leetonia, on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 1:48 p.m. Friday. Nolker was taken to a local hospital with broken ribs. Michaels' passenger, Janis M. Lamar, 67, went to the hospital as well for chest injuries from the seat belt

-- Lauren E. Satterfield, 16, of Lisbon, was cited for failure to control after she went off the left side of the road and her vehicle overturned while driving on Lisbon-Dungannon Road in Center Township at 2:55 p.m. Wednesday. Satterfield was taken by her mother to a local hospital with suspected minor injuries.

-- Kyle J. Koenitzer, 24, of Carrollton, was cited for failure to control after he went off the left side of the road and struck a utility box while driving on state Route 9 in Hanover Township 3:28 p.m. Dec. 16.

-- Colt C. Crane, 17, of Leetonia, slid off the left side of the road and his vehicle overturned while he was driving on Eagleton Road in Center Township at 5:40 p.m. Saturday. Crane was not cited because of the road conditions.

-- Justin B. Graham, 26, of Alliance, went off the right side of the road into a ditch while driving on state Route 14 in Unity Township at 12:35 a.m. Dec. 17. Graham was not cited because of the road conditions.

-- Cody L. Jackson, 21, of Newell, W.Va., was cited for failure to control after his motor vehicle was found overturned and abandoned off Middle Beaver Road in Elkrun Township on Dec. 10. Jackson's father later called to say the vehicle had been stolen. It took several days to track down Jackson, who said he panicked because he was on probation.

-- Chirag H. Patel, 46, of Columbiana, was cited after he reportedly went left of center and struck the vehicle in the other lane which was driven by Karen J. Lanious, 54, of Lisbon, on state Route 45 in Madison Township at 5:41 p.m. Dec. 16.

-- Corey L. Boyce, 27, of New Castle, Pa., was cited for failure to stop an assured cleared distance after her drove into the rear of a stopped vehicle operated by Carol J. Gresh, 62, of East Liverpool, on state Route 7 in Madison Township at 3:39 p.m. Dec. 16.

-- William T. Goodchild, 18, of Salem, was cited for failure to control after he went off the left side of the road and struck four parked vehicles in a driveway on South Egypt Road in Salem Township at 3:21 p.m. Dec. 16. The vehicles -- all pickup trucks -- are on the property of Robert Maines and Ashley Angeli.

-- Caleb M. Swope, 29, of Salem, went off the right side of the road and his vehicle overturned while he was driving on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 6:27 p.m. Dec. 16. Swope was not cited because of the road conditions.

-- Sandra P. Chambers, 60, of Rogers, went off the right side of the road and into a ditch while rounding a bend on state Route 558 in Salem Township at 3 p.m. Dec. 16. She was not cited because of the road conditions.

Lisbon

-- Police responded to a report of a bleeding man waving his arms on East Lincoln Way at 12:26 a.m. Friday. Brandon Rawson of Lisbon said he had just been in a traffic accident on Race Road but was not hurt. His car had slid off the road and over an embankment and Rawson was trying to flag someone down for help.

-- A North Market Street woman reported Dec. 15 she was worried her boyfriend was going to hurt her again. She said he has done so in the past but has been pretty good lately. She said several days before he struck her in the face, broke her phone and then urinated on her clothes, but she did not want to file charges. The boyfriend was not there, and the woman was advised the procedure for obtaining a protection order.

-- Police were called to an apartment house at 324 West Lincoln Way at 7:30 pm. Dec. 15 after the caller said his upstairs neighbor would not leave his apartment. The pair had been drinking, and the upstairs neighbor agreed to return to his apartment.

-- Rachel Baker of Rogers slid off the road and struck a guardrail while driving on Moore Street at 6:07 p.m. Dec. 16.
