LISBON -- A June 25 preliminary hearing was set in county Municipal Court for Sherman Alfred Pritt Jr., 41, Y and O Road, East Liverpool, charged with violating a temporary protection order. Pritt, while incarcerated in the county jail in May, allegedly attempted to call Stacey Dawson multiple times, including leaving her two voice messages. In the past, Pritt already has been convicted of 31 prior counts of violating this same temporary protection order involving Dawson.
Logan A. Rodden, 21, West Middletown Road, Beloit, was bound over to the grand jury on charges of assault on a peace officer, obstructing official business and resisting arrest. On June 11 Rodden allegedly pushed Salem police officer D. Young, who was attempting to take him into custody on a warrant, causing them both to go to the ground and Young to be transported to the Salem Regional Medical Center for an injury to his left elbow. Rodden was fined $100, credited with seven days in jail and sentenced to an additional 23 days in jail after he pleaded no contest to obstructing official business for lying to Lisbon police regarding where to find a wanted person on Jan. 17.
A June 25 preliminary hearing was set for Raymond L. Edwards, 36, state Route 518, Lisbon, charged with felonious assault for allegedly intentionally striking the driver's side from on Sheriff's Deputy Luke Skidmore's cruiser while attempting to drive away on June 6.
Brad E. Kasunich, 36, West Main Street, East Palestine, was sentenced to 60 days in jail, fined $1,125, had his license suspended for three years and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense, speeding and driving under suspension.
Larry L. Warner Sr., 60, North Madison Avenue, Salem, was sentenced to 45 days in jail, fined $1,325, had his license suspended for three years and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense, leaving the scene and failure to control.
Jason M. Miller, 30, West 16th Street, Salem, was fined $925, had his license suspended for two years, sentenced to 10 days in jail and required 40 hours community service for OVI second offense and speeding.
David Matthew Rumsey, 36, Yates Road, Salem, was fined $725, had his license suspended for a year, required to attend a three-day counseling program and ordered 30 hours community service for OVI first offense and speeding.
An Aug. 17 pretrial was set for Richard L. Robinson, 56, Foulks Drive, East Liverpool, cited with OVI first offense and driving under FRA suspension.
A June 22 pretrial was set for George R. House Jr., 35, Ridgeview Drive, Hanoverton, cited with two counts of driving under suspension and one count of faulty exhaust and violation of a protection order for allegedly calling Jessica Jones' phone on June 1.
A July 16 pretrial was set for Megan K. Watt, 42, Crestview Road, New Waterford, charged with driving under suspension, distracted driving, marked lanes and obstructing official business for allegedly trying to mislead a highway patrol trooper by stating she was not involved in a crash on May 5 on state Route 170 near Negley.
A June 25 pretrial was set for Larry A. Wells, 46, state Route 45, Lisbon, charged with assault for allegedly punching Russell Poling on Wednesday.
Robert R. Vecchio, 56, East Lincoln Way, Lisbon, was credited with seven days in jail and fined $500 for four counts of disorderly conduct for public intoxication.
A July 30 pretrial was set for Jennifer S. Scott, 31, North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, charged with theft for allegedly failing to scan 22 items in her shopping cart at Walmart totaling $141 on June 5.
A July 30 pretrial was set for Shawn Paul Davner, U.S. Route 62, Damascus, charged with theft for allegedly taking a $6 pair of men's shorts from the Damascus Dollar General on May 29.
Cheryl L German, 32, Prospect Street, Salem, was fined $150 for disorderly conduct amended from domestic violence for slapping Shawn M. Reynolds during an argument on March 28.

Zackery James Strub, 26, Irish Ridge Road, East Liverpool, was fined $225 and required 40 hours community service for driving under suspension and speeding.
A July 30 pretrial was set for Roy O. Moffett, 24, Union Ridge Road, Negley, cited with driving under suspension and possession of a drug abuse instrument for an alleged syringe found behind the seat of his vehicle on June 6.
Lewis Williams III, 35, Campbell, was fined $150 for driving under suspension.
A July 23 pretrial was set for Duallen Stanford, 27, state Route 170, Negley, charged with possession of a drug abuse instrument for allegedly having a syringe on Friday.
An Aug. 6 pretrial was set for Tara M. Shepard, 35, Jennings Avenue, Salem, cited with no license and marijuana paraphernalia.
Colton Foos, 18, Carey Road, Salem, was fined $100 for possession of marijuana.
